"This is difficult to answer Subha di. I mean one can do badly in JEE due to a variety of reasons but still do ok in the IISER Admission Tests. Just ask him/her to focus on basics and understanding concepts and work on the past year IISER sample questions." - Prof. Dibyendu nandi of IISER Kolkata
@@adityadhardwivedi634 I guess you are completely unaware of the constitutional provision and linguistic policy to be followed by central govt regarding group C states. It applies to all govt bodies (national institutes too) as held through judicial precedent under the scope of ART12 of Indian Constitution.
@@anirbanbhattacharya129 Okay I want to question the bigger elephant in the room that is why are other states students not eligible to study in the cost effective engineering colleges of WB? People only go for Jadavpur University to give WBJEE, isn't that unfair? Somewhere it is the mentality that others are not speaking Bengali so they are "bahari" aka outsiders. WTF is that?

If you are asking me, I am a filmmaker. I made this film on IISER in 2012
Its very sad to see that this college has english and hindi on its main gate but no place or respect for bengali.
Looks more like K - for Kanpur
It's a national institute, no state quota as well unlike any NIT.
