In Kolkata both departments are good but Physics is better and there is high competition for the same. There are no single sharing rooms, for the first 2 years you would have to stay in triple sharing then stay in double sharing.

It obviously depends on your future alignments. If you prefer research more, come to IISER. If you want to do a job and engineering with decent/good package, take CSE.
IISER Kolkata me koi placement nehi hota. PhD Bhi sabko nehi milta ek batch se 60percent ko milta ha ,so job jaldi chaiye to nitdgp cse join Kar sakte ho.

IISER K vs IACS konsa best hai?why?
According to national rankings IISER-K is better however it is not a good parameter. Both institutes are excellent in their domains.
