Great batch from 23! But I'm partial to the first Feb.18th 24 batch thanks to my historic Uncles 75305 that I spent loads of time with! My one is 75319, found in 97 with the 50's re-lacquer and block board so it went to Gilchrist for a correct re-varnish and correct board and its simply awesome!

I've played two Loars that were not so fantastic sounding.
I also played John's 30 years ago when he first got it, and a year later after he radiused fretboard, and been flogged daily, and it sounded fantastic and played like butter.
