And so many areas have way more than 4 hours at a time due to other breakdowns and cabke theft. Up to 14 hours because restoration covers over scheduled times! This is just outrageous....!!

There was more load shedding in the last 6 months of 2022 than in the whole of Eskom's 99 years history combined.
Now in the first 5 months of 2023 there has been more load shedding than the whole of 2022.
They are doing less maintenance and driving the system harder and harder. This can only lead to more breakdowns and an increased possibility of a complete grid collapse.
Things are not just getting worse, they are getting worse faster and faster.
Before this get better, they first have to stop getting worse. That is not happening.

We are already at stage 8. 2X4 hours plus 2 hours per day.

What is the point of appointing a minister of electricity? What is his function actually?

The new electricy minister has a very very important job,and that is to make sure that,to make sure that,to make sure that, well im not sure that he is sure of what he has to make sure of,but I'm sure he'll make sure to look into whatever he needs to.......20 thousand and 39 hundred and 12 and 16.5 megawatts of bull$HIT.

How ignorant can you be? By now you should know that all ANC cadres have a common function : To enrich themselves and the ANC as much and as fast as possible.

We need to keep our eyes on and focus on the positives... At least the important people (The ANC cadres, their funders and families) are NOT affected by ANY blackouts....
We are still at phase 6, but the areas that are traditional voters for the DA are hit by longer periods of blackouts while the areas where mostly ANC supporters live are excluded...it is called winning the next election...

Imagine how bad it will be if the ANC win the next election. Fact is if they get past the post in 2024 the ANC will loot at levels never seen before and come 2029 there will be nothing left to vote for

With further outages and grid failure there will be much civil unrest.
The SANDF and SAPS again will not be able to maintain law and order.
I wouldn't want to be an ANC politician when the masses call on them for answers as to why they have no jobs, food, water, housing and are now sitting in the dark ?
