In South Korea's entertainment industry, there's categorization as to what type of celebrity you are and they take pride of these invisible boundaries. So an idol who is funny and takes part in variety shows should be categorized as an Idol only, not an entertainer/comedian, unless, he makes variety shows his main job and not as an idol.
