I'm sure knowing the financial value of your love and attention can give a woman confidence (if it's high). The problem is that few men would explicitly pay it. Men try to enter a relationship only to discover that you're interested in their wallet more than them. Then you use their emotional investment to extort more money. The truth is that you were never worth the price. It was paid under false pretence.

I am an affluent woman so of course I want to date and marry an affluent man! Anyone who says you're not a feminist is likely part of the group that has sadly hijacked the message that was originally behind the feminist movement: the opportunity for ALL women to choose for themselves and create whatever life they want without discrimination or other impediment. I think people who call themselves feminists but don't acknowledge the fact that there is a wide variety of goals, desires and lifestyle preferences of different women are the greatest threat to women's freedom and to desired outcomes of equality. Some of the most prejudicial people I have ever met were "feminists" into whose box I did not fit.

I have to say I find people's lack of consideration for finances when dating hilarious and seriously idiotic (though mostly worrisome), partially because I used to never consider them either. I think this a major indication of denial, whether due to being over romantic or having already existing rocky financial situations. Finances affect every aspect of our lives and in long term relationships, someone's finances will eventually become YOUR finances. I also appreciate how you often talk about the societal burden of being a woman and how the traditional expectation of being treated more respectfully matters AND means something. While some people view these old school traditions as archaic, I find them practical and I feel like a moron for all the times I pretended such essential things were irrelevant. They're not. It's like dating someone who wants kids when you don't. Those mismatched values are sure to create conflict, if not the total destruction of a relationship. If you want security and a reduction of anxiety, someone who knows how to handle their finances can offer that. Also, if you can handle your own finances, why would you want to date someone who can't, when money is such a fundamental part of reality? Money indicates how hard you'll need to work, what you can and can't afford, what you'll eat, how much, if you can feed your kids, if you'll need to take the bus to work or drive, if you can afford medical costs if things go awry, everything. It effects everything! The sooner people realize that, the sooner they can be in control of their own finances and work to live within their means and create a life they can afford that is within their reach (without being a slave to debt forever, unless you know how to use debt to grow wealth, see what I'm saying?) Educating yourself has some value, people. Just reflect on it. Judging is convinient and avoids questioning yourself. Judge yourself first. Be honest with yourselves.

So weird, especially in America. Everyone seems to always complain about financial woes but don't believe we should put finances high up on our list of important characteristics in a partner. I have been following Anna Bey's channel and quite frankly, I always find her unconditional sharing of her experiential knowledge to be helpful, inspiring and motivational. There will always be ignorant critics who have no qualms about smearing the reputation and credibility of people they don't agree with. Leaving negative and hurtful comments about someone's channel reflects badly on the critics themselves. If all they can do is find RUclipsrs to pick on instead of coming up with socially meaningful or uplifting content themselves, that says much about them in society, their insecure and spreading hate mentality.

As someone whose parents fought about money growing up, I always believed finances are an important factor in choosing a partner. People often call me shallow but I find it foolish for people to only think of their feelings but not consider other factors. This (alongside other values) are important especially when raising up a family.

    • @Damien773
      @Damien773 4 года назад +4

@Kitty Well I get that, I never blamed women for their preferences. Anyone can prefer whatever they want, though I think the girl only going for a guy with a jet, and the guy only going for a 22 year old 10 ,could be classified as superficial imo, also considering the millionaire guy could literally get any hot girl/model he wants, and so the young 10/10 girl could get any guy she wants. I don't really care anyway cause it's their business. Luckily I have a girlfriend who supports me, and believes in me just as much as I do, regardless of my status right now. Well yeah, also considering guys who exhibit confidence, have ambitions, and have potential, sounds way better than just going for the high status/wealthiest man.

A boundary stops others from violating your condition and property. How can you have boundary that makes others provide for you? That's not a boundary. That's an expectation you placed upon someone else and it's realised by exploiting emotional weaknesses of men that we wouldn't logically agree with in the right place of mind. You twist language and concepts until their unrecognizable so they fit your worldview. When society retaliates and shames you, you twist our intentions and character so you don't look bad. You're the manipulator. Ask a man to pay you the upfront cost of what you want and he won't. You have to resort mind games and distortion of facts to get it. By the time you're done, he thinks you would've loved him without the money but you know the truth.

Ladies, above you can see an example of what I was talking about: accusations, labeling me as "a manipulator", adding things I did not talk about, turning my words about boundaries into "man vs woman" thing. Beware of such people, doesn't matter what gender they are. Don't let anyone use and gaslight you. They take away your time, your energy and give "how dare you!" if you ask for anything you need. A person who cares will never try to convince you that not caring about you is fine.

My friend just gave birth to her first Baby. Two horrible days of labor ending by an emergency C-section. She is exhausted, her body is seriously altered, she just saw death very very close. But no one is there yelling that it's unfair. Since both her partner and her wanted a Baby, how unfair it was for her only to risk her life and her health to make it happen. But people are quick to point out the unfairness of ladies being financially secured by their partners, and by encouraging women to be equal on the financial front, they add to the unfairness of women's contribution to family life.
Men are stronger physically and favored on the business and work market. They have an advantage when it comes to making money. It's only fair that they support the women in their lives.
I say all of that as a physician who make decent money. Make sure you are protected and provided for ladies.

Risk of death and permanent disfigurement down there is very real. This shouldn’t be free. A man demanding these sacrifices from women while going 50/50 is a stingy cold hearted man.

This has been on my mind/heart too to say it like that and now that I'm going deeper in my cycle which I set as an intention (and started by regaining the practice of tracking my cycle) I have been going deeper than expected. I was gifted the book 'the optimized woman' and have been reading it and it has validated so much for me and given the why of me saying when sharing my view that, though not negatively, but women or not the same as men. The book goes over your cycle phases and how you can use it as an alley fyi and I share it because it has been so groundbreaking and has made me so overjoyed to find something which give me tools to live in harmony. And for context the conversation was about if a woman can be/is as productive as a man in the workforce with a female co-worker. Do I personally expect to be handed everything not really, however through therapy and what I also find in channels like these is that I have had major blocks one looking like declining help (ex: a male co-worker offering to carry a bag) and honestly it is so exhausting. As some other comments point out too people tend to judge and finances are a very sensitive topic for many even some of us here probably too or atleast to some extent. I think there might be some misconceptions too (maybe not the right word) about having an affluent partner and therefore not having any struggles whatsoever and maybe therefore others backlashing at you. Thank you for sharing your comment and for making the physical part/difference so visible. Even in other reading when diving in archetypes (source: Goddesses in everywoman/Gods in everyman - do not remember exactly which one) it highlights how, including and even further than 50/50, if you do follow/have a role-reversal type relationship how much conflict that can cause albeit internal which personally I notice in a lot to most 50/50 relationship or the dynamic atleast (referring to the role-reversal part). For anyone interested and curious the aforementioned books, the Goddesses/Gods one, are by Jean Shinoda Bolen where she goes over a set of archetypes one can identify within oneself and uses the Greek/Roman pantheon (also patriarchy) for it and the other one is by Miranda Gray. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone or well maybe the cycle on not necessarily to men.

As a psychology student I can vouch to say people only apply “labels” when something is too complex to understand. The idea that a women can both elevate herself and love a man is something that this patriarchy society does not want to understand because it is a threat to the “average joe”, or most of the men in society. Personally I haven’t been interested in dating affluent men, but if I did it’s not me being a good digger. It is having a preference. Just like most men prefer a women that keeps in shape, spends thousands of dollars on fashionable clothes, hair extensions or makeup. I do not get why it is so difficult to be understood by people. 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is the Beauty of Islam and its culture. Men HAVE to pay for their family, it's not a choice but an OBLIGATION. Women are financially secured and don't necessarily need to earn. To be honest, I think she’ s teaching how to respect ourselves during or when starting a relationship with a man. Women tipically tend to adapt to their partner, sort everything out for them and leave ourselves in a second place. Subsequently, they take us for granted and stop treating us as we deserve like the high value women that we are. We, instead of realize about this and put ourselves and our dignity first, usually feel scared to be single and accept such mistreat. This is what Anna tries to highlight so we can recognize that pattern and get out of toxic and disrespectful relationships that do not allow us to find a real man who gives his partner what she deserves. That been said, the type of man you want is irrelevant. If you want to find a wealthy man, you need to refine yourself to navigate well in such circle as a complement to everything she says about self respect. Now, if you’re not necessarily looking for a rich man, you can also follow her tips! Your man, rich or not, must treat you well and for that you need to know that you, alone, are a high calliber woman and your partner must take it into consideration if he wants to have you in his life. He’s not the most important, YOU ARE. Only then you’ll have a proper relationship, better if wealthy but not exclusively!

Most of these videos lead to heated responses and reactions and I admire that Anna always keeps her composure. By definition, an assumption is a concept accepted as true, even if there’s no proof to back it up, so it technically holds no significance. Of course, some of these can be very offensive, for their content and how they are phrased and it takes some real strength to deflect the criticism. An example to follow, everyone, don’t let these rude people get to you. You are wonderful❤️

Anna, I find you quite charming! Ive been following you for about 3 months now and I look forward to EVERY one of your videos! I am almost “66” . I am married and have 4, grown children. Until NOW I havent addressed my “looks”. Ive always dressed nicely but nothing exciting. I keep my body slim and healthy but kind of just wear whatever! YOU have helped me “move it up” a bit. I now focus on quality clothing vs buying cheap stuff (material and style) . I LOVE your advise and your fabulous style! You make me want to feel beautiful and I will continue to follow you! DONT GO ANYWHERE!!! ❤️👍🏻❤️😘 YOU are AMAZING!!!!!!! I’m glad you addressed all these negative comments! YOU are RIGHT on and “they” , obviously, dont like themselves (or) uncertain of WHO they are! Continue the way you are going! Ignore the jealous women/men who criticize you!

I dont think there is anything wrong with a female looking to elevate herself and become more elegant or "proper". However, I believe women have a lot more opportunities these days to reach a higher level of affluence on their own because we have access to higher education and more career opportunities compared with generations ago. Why can't women support themselves? Why do we always have to rely on a man to provide for us? I grew up in an affluent neighborhood where many women were the same audience in this channel and they were unfortunately left in the dust with failed relationships/marriages. There is NOTHING wrong with dating a man who can provide, but we should learn to rely on OURSELVES.

    • @vagabondgirl4732

That is why SHE is teaching US that. She IS NOT TELLING U to just sit down, be nobody else and wait for a man who will provide. She keeps saying to invest in yourself which means that u should value education and never get tired of learning something new. In the first place, no millionaire man will be ever be attracted with a lazy, no knowledge and no life kind of girl. Ana has her online school of affluence plus other investments as well.

That's what Anna is saying tho. You as a woman have to support yourself and have ambition, so why would you choose a loser with zero ambition as a partner? That would lead you to an awful relationship and eventually, the financial burden would be on you. It's wrong to date a guy only for his money, that's clear, but is also wrong to date a lazy guy who doesn't have ambition

@@vagabondgirl4732 I remember her answering the question "What do you bring to the table" and she says "Are seriously asking me this question?" She wants us to bring a lot to the relationship, yet never says that you have to bring something to the relationship, even though you should. It's good that you know that women should contribute too, but Ana never says that. You have good ideas, but a wrong leader.

    Dear Anna,
I must say that I really appreciate your videos coming from a not so wealthy family but have been working so much towards a career these last few years. This year is finally the year I am graduating from University and I am currently doing lots of internships where your videos just came in handy when I had to go to several social events. They really helped me not to feel so awkward around all these successful people. Next week I am starting a new chapter in my life by finally moving to Zürich, one of my favorite cities, to finish my last internship. Thank you so much for teaching us ladies so many helpful things!

I can’t believe people call you an anti-feminist . Being a feminist is about women having the choice to do whatever they want for themselves. It’s about choice . I love your videos especially as an 18 year old who is starting her adult life.
