The others were just cashing in the trend, no proper mixing or even a slight attempt at trying to blend both together. Its honestly surprising how many people partaking in the trend are obviously tone-deaf. You don't have to be a audiophile to realize whats wrong with the others, theres no harmony in most of them. This rendition is perfect.

Respectfully, I feel Jack Black’s cover is a bit better. His vocals just catch my attention so much more and I love how he adds some extra oomph to his songs, his voice really just SPEAKS Tenacity for me and I wouldn’t have guessed he could’ve made this song sound so much cooler than it already is and this song’s been my favorite by the time I heard it.

Why does liking one type of music prevent you from liking another? There's nothing to be ashamed of by having diverse tastes. I know there's a lot of elitism in the metal community in many ways, but don't let that dictate your own palette. Pop music was basically created in a lab to have broad appeal, anyway... ESPECIALLY if it's Max Martin's work. He is a pop god.
I listen to way heavier stuff like deathcore/death metal, and I could care less! I listen to all kinds of stuff, literally anything I want to. Ask the people in these bands and you'll realize they themselves listen to a lot of other music. I've spoken to many guys in death metal bands who basically don't listen that much to metal anymore outside of maybe before they write, this is cause it's so boring to just listen to one thing, many also banned listening to metal in their tour vans.
Despite not being as emotionally strong as the others, I had fun with KP4 (the second one still my favorite) and I’m excited to see what they’ll do for this new “master” trilogy, I love this big panda. Let’s hope Tenacious D does more songs for the franchise, like imagine if Kyle and Jack do rendition of “Kung Fu Fighting” that would be awesome!
