"What causes rage, headaches, personality disorder, and hypogonadism?" Totally thought the reveal was gonna be the kid was juicing for the chess comps until he jaundiced out lmao
@@spinmaster0, which he did AFTER the kid had started seizing and the game had ended. It's not a real resignation or loss if there isn't a game actively being played. So, while you'd be correct under most circumstances, your logic is flawed in this specific context. The resignation was merely symbolic of House feeling temporarily defeated by the kid's mysterious illness since House hadn't figured out about the hemochromatosis yet.
What is really bad is that House took quite some time to think up that chess move before telling the kid what his move would have been and thinking he had got one over on him, only for the kid to burst his bubble immediately. While the kid insulted the others, he really stuck it to House by revealing his bluff. The kid managed to get under his skin, and they both knew it. That is why House was seething at the end. You don't see many people gaining the upper hand over him that way. And House couldn't even hide his loss behind his own 'jerk' persona - how can you when the kid is an even bigger one?
After watching this excellent episode a few times (it's worth it!) I noticed the actor looks Chase up and down numerous times in numerous scenes, as though the actor had bothered to layer in some extra psychology: perhaps Nate is gay and mad about it, or maybe he's depicting something more pedestrian, like an intense adolescent concern about his and other men's appearance. But there is no question he keeps checking Chase out. So good for the actor, besides the hilarious line delivery he thought through what might be going on under the hood.
She was so good in Joan of Arcadia, but the part they had her play on House was guaranteed to be annoying. Her whole whiz-kid Goody Two Shoes personality was beyond irritating.

I see House staggering around on an unstable leg. Does it ever occur to him to get his leg fixed or at least wear a knee brace? I've had broken knee cap and hyper-extended leg. You don't torture the injury the way Dr House does for long. The injury abuse causes joint swelling and inflammation, steadily freezing the muscles in place in order to heal itself. Dr House just keep running around - which is not realistic. The abuse stacks until you are on the floor.
Nate is rude, but the worst one is the patient that sues the doctors. Love how House beat him in his own game.
at his own game but yeah
That guy honestly didn't bother me nearly as much as others. He's just a standard scam artist, it's not a compliment but those are everywhere
Does that guy really count as a patient?
No this kid is worse. Consistently mistreated others and his mother.
When House calls somebody a jerk, you know they're REALLY a jerk...

He could get into real estate, maybe teen beauty pageants, who knows, maybe even be President one day!
@@Lexie-bq1kkMaybe he’ll be governor of California
Same
The last thing you want to do is be sarcastic when it comes to questions like that. House is always going to run w that. Cuddy should know by now lol.
She learns eventually.

Hmmmm
Foreshadowing??
I don't think I was ever rooting for House to fail a case more than this one. Props to the actor for being able to come off as super irritating.
Tell your homies to quit stomping on me😂😂
*quit
"And that's why [snicker] you lost."
house telling the mom his jerkness is probably her fault was uncalled.
I mean she’s the one raising him🤷♂️
@Jdjdjdujakzgsha I meant a little too mean, even for House standards 😬
@@jugadoraaa House's entire personality is saying things that are uncalled for...
Man I guessed right about who the patient would be just by reading the title😂😂
It’s kinda like Joffrey from Game of Thrones, actor does a great job making you hate the character
Quick note: Despite what the kid said, House didn't lose their game. House didn't surrender - the game was cut short by his seizure.
8:35 - Knocking down the king means you resign.

@@cornett_miranda Nah, House resigned.

lol that jerk at the end.. well look whos talking... :D
Ha! “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” is one of my dad’s favorite songs. 😁

i just eat all this mcdonalds.
i'll get the word out that you are a great guy😂.Cuddy: I was being sarchastic. House: It won't look that way in the court transcript.
hey! stop with the canibalism! IM DEAD SERIOUS!

On the contrary, who would be considered House’s best patient?
The old lady with syphilis. That was hilarious.
A female woman had eating moldy bread 🍞 she had a nightmare about Dr kutner and 13 trying to stab her 😅😅😅

Loved his character just like House but worse
Top 5 ep for sure
Little ben shapiro
I am not happy to share my name with this character lol
The worst was the girl who couldn't feel anything, during brain surgery she messed with the doctors
Never disliked a patient as much as I disliked Masters

House was compromised; someone's life was at immediate risk and he was solving the diagnosis, trumps Chess and his ego, but not his honor.
Excuses. Kid was dying and outplayed him.
Nate was one of House's funniest patients. His snarkiness cracks me up to bits! 😂😂😂
It makes you wonder why it’s binary between intelligence and attitude. You can be smart and decent at the same time
This episods js Basically when Gen Alpha thinks they are skibidi enough to fanum tax hospitals of their gyat money.

i dont like it when innocent people suffer! it has to stop!

he is not supposed to be called a chicken right now! do not! cull! a! human!

because it think his bad leg has to do with a necrotic (dead or dying) muscle as the result of a blood clot not a knee injury. There is no fixing it.
He had a necrotic muscle tissue cut out, specifically his thigh muscle. It cannot be fixed and he is in chronic pain
stop slicing peoples brains up! quit it!
