Why an over-sized boy?

Looks to be as useless as all the other robots.
Teams around the world keep repeating and recreating and reinventing the proverbial wheel over and over again.
Like slamming your head into a brick wall trying to break it over and over again and obviously always failing.
This robot making gimmick is looking more and more like a scam.
Lets make what everyone have done before us and earn money while doing it without any new things added.
