I just can’t be the only one that appreciates that the text color always matches Jessica’s dress. Just makes me smile every time.
It is very nice how you mix new with things that you’ve had so long that you’ve worn the label off. (Also love that you wear Claudia’s wedding shoes. -The perks of being a wife and having a wife!) 🌈
It's so nice to share a clothing or shoe size. My mother in law and I share both so I always know who to ask first whenever I want to declutter my wardrobe. My partner is about one clothing size up from me and I typically buy my stuff oversized anyway so we can actually share quite a few of the basic stuff as well.
Makes for a very expansive wardrobe in the end
Same with me and my wife. Although we have very different styles. (Meaning I have none) So, whenever I am in anything nice, our friends know it belongs to her. 😁

I just thought to myself “I should get some merch, I can’t believe after like 3 years I’ve never bought any of her merch” before picking up my coffee mug and realizing that it’s one of her designs. Brain fog for the win, y’all!
I have recently purchased my first properly vintage dress recently, it was from lindy bob and I got it at a local carnival, but although I want to wear it everywhere, I am doing a practical countryside course so I cant wear it with my overalls which is disappointing. Love your channel Jessica, you are one of my favourite youtubers
Jessica, I so badly want you to do a review or watch A League Of Their Own (the new Amazon prime tv show version) it’s very LGBTQ+ focused, and omg the vintage fashion is everything!! You remind me so much of the character Greta Gill who is a truly iconic lesbian with just the best style!💕
Omg the first time i saw Greta I GASPED because I thought it was Jessica for a second, I know unlikely because they don't really look alike but just the vibe, the energy and of course the fashion reminded me a lot of Jessica and it made the series even better than it already is, I love it so much
Outfit 4 had us all shooketh (that's a positive thing)! I also have some pieces of clothing that are made of very warm fabric but cut in a way that makes you still be cold, which I thought made them unwearable. Maybe I'll try to be creative and give them another go!
That mini-dress is amazing! Seeing you in a different silhouette is very interesting
came for the ~aesthetic~, stayed for the chunky baby footage
Trying to figure out how to respectfully say I like seeing your legs......
More accurately, I'm glad you're trying new styles within vintage fashion and looking so glamorous doing it!
Jessica was right, it was sort of shocking seeing that much of her legs.
This video was just so delightful!!
Jessica, thank you for introducing me to vintage fashion. I genuinely think I’ve become a happier person since I started dressing vintage. xoxo
LOVING that short skirt dress one piece thing. It looks vintage but I'd say it's more a modern vintage inspired design and girl you look STUNNING. There's nothing like a good frilly dress but she should definitely try some other vintage looks.
All of these are my favourite and, I have to say, well done with the “exterior location” shots. Such beautiful stone walls and fabulous house and gardens - a perfect backdrop 🙂🐿❤️🌈
You have beautiful clothes! My favorite is the white dress, green belt and pearls. ☺I think it is neat that your shoe size is the same as Claudia's since you are wearing her wedding shoes. ❤
Oh my got was that Rupert walking😱
Craving a collab/ crossover video about momlife with Hannah Witton and your respective littles with babies Ru and Ro in the background or with blurs over their widdle faces while the play.
Hi! Loved this video, you've found some beautiful backgrounds and 👌outfits. Maybe an idea for another time: My style is more masculine and I often love what Claudia's wearing, if she'd be up for it, I'd love to see some of her style in a video like this! I can imagine a part of your audience might enjoy this too, like to let her know I guess? Take care❤️
I love all of them! I also spent much of the video faving each store you mentioned!
Love the pink stripe dress and polka dot tights! So cute on you! You do have legs! lol
"Even though there's not a lot of it..." I laughed out loud. The outfits are so charming!
Have you made a video of the puffy underdresses already?
Because i have a few dresses but no petticoat (is it the right word for it?) So the dresses aren't nearly beautiful as with petticoat, but i can't find a petticoat because I don't know what to search for..
Yes, she has done a few. Here is one, you can search by her name and the word petticoat, which is the correct word! ruclips.net/video/NW8wyo99OX4/видео.html
Petticoat is the right word yes. I've seen Jessica mention them before but I don't remember if it was an entire video though. If you search for vintage/50's petticoats you should find some but be aware, if you get bargain ones like I did, they will be a bit scratchy 💃
Your clothes are so lovely! Fun to see Rupert playing, too!
😱 Gasps!! -Faints- 🥵🥰🫠 Jessica!! It should be illegal to look this stunning!
Did I hit like before I even finished the video? Yes, yes I did.
Loved the Beth dress, the number 5.
I live in the middle of Canada and although I absolutely love fall coats and boots (and I do keep buying them), we really only have about 2 weeks of optimal weather for wearing them. Summer is too hot, and we tend to switch from heat waves practically straight to freezing, with snow by October.
I adore that pink dress on you! Something different but very complementary.
Wow, Jessica! You are looking very beautiful and gorgeous! 😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹
that pink dress is so barbie! i love it on you!
I LOVE a stretchy dress that fits just right! 😍
I loved the white dress.
Lovely outfits and a lot of inspiration for dressing this season! The main change I’ve done to transition from summer is constantly wearing knitted cardigans. Honestly, I wear them in summer as well because summers here can be up and down as well, but for this season I am rarely seen without one. I definitely need to get better at integrating skirts and dresses for the colder seasons as well, and pick up some new pairs of tights. We’re probably getting temperatures below zero in the night quite soon.
For the winter holiday season (December) jessicas red checked dress from British retro is my favourite and it will never go out of fashion in my opinion 💕
Love the legs!
I've lived in Singapore my whole life. I'm sure you've got some experience with the weather down here cuz of ur past trips to Malaysia and stuff, but God its constantly oscillating between sweltering and rainy 24/7/365
I live in Northumberland and I wish we had weather for that kind of styles! My bottom would freeze right off in all the wind and rain we've been having lately.
The seasons do change in the American South…eventually, these outfits probably won’t be suitable here until Halloween though. Wonderful video, I love that you yoinked your wife’s wedding shoes.
You simply must have a look at Australian brand, Kitten d’Amour, who do wonderful limited runs of dresses that use authentic French vintage patterns. (I don’t work for them, but I do love their clothing).
Jessica! I love your fluffy dresses and skirts, but look #4 on you! WOW! 🔥🔥🔥
My biggest challenge during transitional seasons is always how much the changing weather affects my mental health. One day, it might be sunny and I'll feeling optimistic and hopeful, and the next I just don't have any energy because it's cloudy and rainy.
Jessica, forget seasons, it's called climate change now. You look gorgeous as always !
Jessica I have marfan's syndrome (it's a CT disorder too) and I have had the worst time with shoes my entire life. Do you have any tips for breaking in shoes, especially heels?
I love 4! Here it was almost 100°f a couple days ago and today it's 57°f so I too, wonder what it's like when all the seasons are mild.
Found an amazing vintage dress shop in Newbury with plus size 😍. Heavenly
isn't it fun to find a "just right" kind of store?? !!
In Eastern Europe there used to be four seasons, but lately summer and winter, so the extremes are becoming longer whilst spring and autumn, the transitional seasons are shorter and shorter which is a bummer because I like these the most. 😒 Oh well, I guess we all have to adapt and go forward. 😕
Oh yeah, the outfits presented are lovely! 💜
Lovely! I live in North Texas in the USA, and we basically have two seasons. Summer, when you wear as little as possible and stay out of the sun. Winter, which is short, when it can be pleasant except for more rain and about 30 spaced out days of really cold. There are a very few days of “in between” weather in the so-called Spring and Fall. So, layers are your friend any time it’s not just Summer.
Hi there! I also live in Texas, the way I describe the climate is "summer and not summer".
Thanks for asking if we live in a place where the seasons don't change. 😃
I do. I live near the equator and the weather stays the same all year long. if you want to have cooler temperatures here, you go to a place with a higher elevation.
it should be quite similar to Malaysia I suppose.
the good thing is that you can still wear some of the dresses you show here. I particularly like the last one. so beautiful! 😊
Layers. . . I live off layers. If I get hot, I can just take one off
The never changing season is like I have a jacket I bought years ago and have still never worn it but still wanted to but now it is 2 small.
You always look great Jessica whatever you wear. We liked the outfit you wear at the beginning the one at the end🤔and the three in between. We was a little bit shocked with the outfit with the short dress. You managed to pull it off with your gorgeous figure and fabulous long legs🥰
What a delightful reminder that you do indeed have legs. 😍
Right? It was a little shocking. Lol
Absolutely 😅
Heading to Miss Candyfloss at speed...
You always wear such lovely things and I was surprised to see the short dress, Jessica has legs. Dresses go spinny.
this is also giving some spring vibes and as an Australian moving into Spring rn I thank you for that
You look amazing in all your outfits and it so good that you mix with new with old a but all are simply stunning and thank you so much for sharing this outfit video
will you be doing a wardrobe rotation video for summer to autumn! thank you love your videos ❤️
Love this video and covet your style.
I used to think constant summer would be awesome, then a friend told me she thinks is hard to understand that time passes when there are no seasons. Since then I appreciate the seasons a lot more ^^
I love how beautifully you pu these outfits together ❤️. My idea of a Fall transition look is to add flannel, lol. Sending love from Michigan ❤️
YOUR area gets a real Winter ! I'm from Florida and I like our winters, and we get a damp cold at times. Stay Warm !!
All of them are so beautiful, I would pick the blue one in the beginning the most, it looks the most comfortable, easy to wear and the neckline is really unique! Happy first day of fall 🍁🍂
That pink dress with big puffy sleeves? IM IN LOVE! ✨🌺
i loved your outfits:D, they all looked realy cute on you. normally i don't realy like pink that much but i just loved the little dress you showed at 6:40. it just looked so cute and beautifull on you:). for weather i live in the netherlands so our weather is close to yours in how much it changes. i normaly wear jeans alot combined with a shirt. that is basicly it, im that person people look at and they are like im just getting cold from looking at you. normaly my body just dousn't feel the cold that much and i can just go out. i do always keep a jacket with me during autmn or a thick sweater/vest. so yea that is how i survive:P. i do have moment's where the weather catches me unaware and i will get drenched while wearing short's and a pair of cute summer slippers but alas just part of life i gues:P.
👖👖👚👚👡 🧥🧥🧥🌧🌦🥵☀🌞🌞
When I was a kid in the 80s, I could swear Texas, where I live, had seasons, but now it seems like we are either so hot that if you go outside very long, you'll very possibly get a heatstroke and die or it's so cold that you'll die from that when the electricity goes out and along with it your heat.
Same with Chicago. We used to have 4 seasons, now we have 2!
I cannot even express how much joy it brings me that the on screen text always matches the outfit of the day!
the sky is an ally
Yay! I'm always so excited for more vintage content ✨
Jessica, these outfits are a Dream !! And that 1960's short dress swing moment was soo charming, now of course, we want more cute looks 😁☺️😉
Obsessed with look #4! but all of them seem just cozy. Most of my dresses stealthily stretchy like some of these.
Fabulous outfits! Would you ever consider doing a video on dress/fit and flare coats? I've been looking at some Collectif, Hellbunny and British Retro ones. It will be my first 'big' purchase in vintage reproduction fashion, so I'm a bit tentative. I was hoping to get one second hand but they are few and far between.
even online? Good luck hunting for fashion you want !!
Got one by Hellbunny and its lovely! I recomment trying them on in different sizes/cuts though, since they tend to vary quite lot from body shape to body shape :)
Absolutely beautiful!
Transition? 😅 you tell me this right after I’ve completely changed out my Spring/Summer to Autumn/Winter what is this Summer/Autumn you speak of? 😂😂😂
Love the outfits. My fav is the last one, the white dress. Still in summer outfits here. 97°F here right at the moment!
Where do you live?
From a place where seasons don't change, I NEVER EVER thought that you had 4 different closets??? for 4 different seasons??? until I started watching you lol. I mean, it makes sense, but it also doesn't for me. It sounds SO exhausting.
I live in Texas and, while it normally waits until closer to the end of September to have a cool front, because cold fronts seldom happen this early, we have actually not broken 100º (38º C) since August. Not that it isn't still hot, just not AS hot. Since this is "cat box day" I'm in shorts and a tanktop.
Having fewer seasons is weird. I’ll never get used to not having fun colored fall leaves while the temps go from 56 to 91 (Fahrenheit, but STILL) in one day.
I live in a place with not a lot of variation between seasons. Most of the time it's a high in the 70F's (21C-29C) and it might get below 50F (10C) occasionally at nights. We get a snow once every decade...it'll last about an hour before it's gone.
Hi Jessica,
Have you seen The brand Lola Ramona? It’s vintage designs with a twist. Maybe check it out😊
You look gorgeous, beautiful & happy - so glad you can snatch some such moments out of the jaws of pain/fatigue & more! 🤞🤞🤞
I love the Beth dress and ensemble. My youngest daughter is very much my vintage girl. She loves going to thrift shops and looking for vintage clothing.
do yard sales you've been to have any vintage? We sold some of my Mom's hats, jewelry, coats at our yard sale and people grabbed them up!!
Yaaaayyy Im so glad to see you doing look bookd and fashion videos again, thank you jessica!
That green blazer is absolutely A++ and definitely my favorite of all of them. I love that color. The Beth dress is a close second though. I have to agree with Jessica that it looks so versatile and can be worn in any season.
Fall is my favorite season and I'm so happy we're finally getting some weather where I am that's cool enough to wear a cardigan without dying from heatstroke.
Love the outfits, especially your new style which looks very comfortable (number 4)
In the part of Brasil I live in we have 2 seasons - Rain or No Rain.... Although the tempeture can sometimes get chilli (especially at night) or some special days, its usually realy warm
The seasons don't change much where I live which is frustrating because I really wanna wear long sleeved or thicker materials but then it's too hot and uncomfortable :(
I live in a desert and it's hot most of the year and then we get like one month of winter that could probably pass as other people's fall. Maybe one day of snow. I always envy places with 4 seasons. Most of my clothes are lightweight and breathable, and I'll just wear my darker stuff for fall/winter
I recently swapped my summer dresses in my wardrobe for my jumpers. The jumpers live in my lowest draw during the summer so I can get to them if the English weather forgets what summer actually is but there is always stuff in front of that draw so trying to use it every day in winter just doesn’t work. This is the first time I’ve done a seasonal wardrobe swap so I’m curious how it will go.
This is entirely unrelated to this video, but how does one sign with just one hand?
I am genetically predisposed to deafness, and am trying to learn ASL before that so I am prepared for when I cannot hear but I also have an unknown condition that paralyzes one or both of my arms at random times and I worry I will not be able to sign properly if this happens.
You seem like the gal to ask about this.
I really love outfit number 2 and 5, but I am also currently head over heals for a cute collar 😁 Here in Denmark, the weather is probably similar to what you have in England and I am so happy that the temperature is starting to approach a degree where I am not constantly sweating 😅 I have just a few days ago switched from shorts and such to long pants, but am still not in the stage of long sleeved shirts or ant jackets 🙃
I can't decide between outfit 1 and 2! The blazer is absolutely gorgeous.
Hi Jessica. I love all the things you wear as I am in to 50's fashion to. Just I find it hard as I am overweight .
it's transitioning from winter to spring here, and we had the biggest storm my city had in years.... we're still no energy, but at least I can use my 4g to watch this video
Do all of these dresses go in a washing machine or do you have to dry clean them ? If so, how do you keep up with it ? I'm really curious, as a person who would love to have more style that jeans and a T-shirt
The biggest climate change we get here in the Caribbean is hurricanes, besides that, it’s just spending Christmas with the air conditioner on, and throughout the whole year 😂
Love the outfits. I make vintage clothes so I'm in awe
You're the best and I hope Rupert and Claudia are doing well! :D I loved all the looks and gravitated toward the green jacket one and that artelier dress was very pretty.
I adore your style! And being overseas its not always easy finding new online stores to shop through. You gave me so many awesome ideas and stores from this video. Thank you!🤩
your modelling is comfortable and natural and you are just so good at making your skirts flow perfectly.
The blue dress and Beth Dress were my favourite. 👗
Please do more faction videos plz
I LOVE a beret. I have far too many of them! 😂x
