    I find nice that you show us even the airport and not only the landing. Good video of W10.

      Thank you Antonio, much appreciated! 👍 This little airfield secluded in the forest is a hidden treasure. It was like visiting a beautiful park on a perfect summer day. The approach can be a bit intimidating, the narrowness of the runway and closeness of the tall trees on each side. It isn’t any easier on takeoff as those tall trees loom at the end of the runway, you just have to trust Ginger will climb up above them before reaching them!! Thanks for watching!! 👍✈️

      Many thanks! I appreciate your kind words, welcome to the channel 👍 I’ve been on a hiatus of sorts, moved to an airpark home, filming new videos now and expecting the return of new content next Saturday. ✈️🍀

    What is it with Mooney's at Bayview?!?

    • @GingerThePlane
      @GingerThePlane  2 года назад

      Exactly! Could be the same guy, doubtful tho. I was surprised the Twin Cessna pilot wasn’t too upset, it was the Skyhawk behind the Mooney who was giving it to him. I just added a small amount of humor to lighten the mood and let everyone move on. Glad I caught all that on BVS coms!!

    Great videos, it would be great if you can have a screen on the side that shows where youre at on foreflight gives better prespective of where youre at and where youre going and then we can compare that with what we are seeing from the cameras

      Great idea, I’ll look at adding that in future videos. Many thanks! 👍

    I like your butter smooth radio voice. I always sound like a teenager that just hit puberty. I also like how you review the area around the airport. Do my eyes deceive me or are you making left pattern calls while in a right pattern (W10 is left pattern)? Doesn't look like the camera is mirrored.

      Hi Jeff, well spotted! Yes, W10 is a left pattern and I was having a total backwards day, as I was approaching the pattern I was thinking left but ended up on the right side of the runway. I should have either called a right pattern or got out of there and reentered on the west side. I wrote a detailed description of all this in the video notes but suffice to say I learned from this flight to be more diligent and accurate in uncontrolled airport traffic patterns. Not my finest day, I shared the video as an example of where we can all improve - starting with me.

      Totally agree. I record my flights for my own edification. Lots of times I think what a perfect flight I just had then I review the video. I'm like wrf I can't believe I messed that up. Flying in to W10 tomorrow myself. I find your videos helpful. So far every island Airport I want to fly into you have already done a video. Keep up the good work
