Autumn 2024 on Crann Darrach

A video of what the orchard has achieved in just a few months.
The raised bed I dug gradually over winter '23, we put card and new soil down and planted it in mid spring as the frosts lifted.
The deer fence went in August 2023. I already had the apple and pear in ( albeit it with deer guards) but since then, it's been an ever gradual constant addition of new plants.
We have

Almond
Sloe moved into a pot
Gooseberry
Jostaberry
Worcester berry
Japanese wine berry
Tayberry
Goji berry
All the coloured currants
Raspberries both early and late
Aronia
Saskatoon
Sea buckthorn
Honeyberry
Rosemary
Rosehip
Mulberry
And an abundance of perennials and kale!!
We have more seabuckthorn and 3x schisandra on the way to plant. So it will be fun to create an arch for the schisandra to scramble.
The fruit trees need more love and me to prune what's required over winter.
