About IT:
The horror thriller “IT”, directed by Andrés Muschietti, is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids is faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

"Ahaa!"
"mine too!, ha ha ha. Because they pop!!!
This movie was disturbing, distressing and intense-and gorgeous and funny, too. I loved it. I can't imagine a better adaptation of this material. Different, but not better. How the hell are they going to top this in Chapter 2?
Joseph Charles the Director says the sequel should feel like an extension of the first film so the child actors will come back but to better blend to their adult actors and it will jump back n forth between 89 and the present
Yes, I'd read something similar to that. That is fantastic. I kind of hope it's like a 𝘎𝘰𝘥𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘐 or 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘉𝘢𝘤𝘬, and surpasses Chapter One.
Horrifying shit: The flute lady
Funny shit: "Look at this motherfucker! He's leaking hamburger helper!"
Gorgeous shit: Blood Oath
Joseph Charles i saw it chapter 2 it was still good but not as good as this one
Trick question, it didn't
The way the music intensified after the bite was so fucking well done. Made it so intense including the buildup to it
Those teeth... like a shark
Yeah, made it much more scarier then the 1990 miniseries.
This scene traumatized me
#DIAMOND THUNDER Me too! I had a crying panic attack and my dad had to try and calm me down! That is how bad and terrifying that this scene in the movie has gotten me dude!
Gabriel Williams dude that's nothing, in the novel Georgie's death is worse since Pennywise literally rips Georgie's arm off making it more painful and slower then drags him in to the sewer only for him to bleed out and die then IT proceeds to eat him. if anything the movie tunned his death significantly even tho they were trying to stay true to the book as possible. thought i still gotta admit i was pretty shocked at the scene too even tho i saw it coming
i want to go see the film again but im to scared of that scene!! Help!
#DIAMOND THUNDER ssame
I don't understand with the children floating. Why aren't they eaten yet?
2:20 The first time I saw the movie, I knew Georgie was going to die, but I was utterly shocked when I saw those giant teeth latch onto his hand.
Me too! It was not in the 90s version!
His arm*
Yep
ikr then i was like woah this movie might be that scary
My parents: this movie is way to scary for you.
Me: the graphics when pennywise bit off georgies arm look like they were made back in the 70s, but then again, you all thought that the 70s graphics were the greatest they can be
Like, I knew he was gonna eat the kid right. I knew Georgie was dead when his boat went down into that drain. What I didn’t expect was to see a five or six year old boy crying out in pain and shock, crawling desperately away from a monster which just bit his fucking arm off, while his blood is washing all around him. That... That shit scared me. And the hand coming out to grab him... UGH. Poor georgie
And it grabbed him where the rest of his arm was! keep in mind that would hurt so much!
2:39
When you down here with me... you'll float too~
This scene (including the specific shots) was EXACTLY as I imagined it to be, but at the same time I was SO shocked seeing it actually happen. I can only imagine what people might imagine when they listen to this music without having seen the movie (yet).
I noticed specifically how Georgie saw the bright yellow eyes in the sewer at first, and thought it might be a cat, before penny wise emerges. That's how it's shot in the movie too, how you see his eyes first glowing in the darkness
Awesome ^^ it's great when you have this little deja vu after reading hte book haha
+purexlovelyxice Lol your teacher played this music in class?
purexlovelyxice Can I take whatever class you're taking? 😂😂
@@mrdropkicker1 parecia una mezcla entre bozo y clarabelle tenia mechones de pelo comico sonrisa de payaso pintada cabeza calva pintada
0:58-1:19 the old woman looking at Georgie on the road. This whole scene is so damn good
I love how the song, starts with inocence and little by little gets more and more misterious, and it finally finishes in horror
2:39 It was at this moment you knew how gory this movie was gonna be
I was actually expecting more gore but it wasn’t even gruesome at all. Just startling.
Idiot it wasn't gory 😂😂
Paranoid X62 It would of been scarier and more disturbing if they put in the scene where some devil creature brutally eats a baby in front of its mother.
But this and Henry's dad are the only gore in the film :/
Wasn’t that gory just a bit of blood spilled not much the real gore is in Chapter 2
You can pinpoint the exact moment shit goes down, 2:39
The storm blew me away! It blew my whole circus away.
Can you smell the circus, Georgie?
Creepiest line
This is how you make a terrifying sound track. It's not cheap jumpscares, it's true terror and tension.
During all the Georgie scene i was on the edge of my chair and when pennywise attacked i got jumpscared too, but i actually feared him.
1:52 - 2:17 gives me chills ,
love it
Damn, poor Georgie. Got it worse than anyone really. That was the most shocking part of the film for me. Good movie!
I LOVE GEORGIE!!!!!!!! I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO DIE!!!!!!!! But yeah, it was a great movie!
It was so much worse since Georgie was literally so adorable
Georgie did get it pretty bad, but Betty Ripsom with her bottom half bitten off was pretty bad too.
Holly T. True, but I guess it's the fact that Georgie's incident really kicked off the events of the movie and the movie itself where I felt like it was worse. And we actually saw it happen. But Betty did get it pretty bad as well
.
Pennywise - "Hiya Georgie... what a nice boat. Do you want it back?
Georgie - "Umm, yes please"
Pennywise - "You look like a nice boy... Do you want a balloon too georgie?"
Georgie - "I'm not supposed to take stuff from strangers"
Pennywise - "Ohh, well I'm Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Now we aren't strangers, are we?"
Georgie - "What are you doing in the sewer?"
Pennywise - "The storm blew me away. Blew the whole circus away. ... Can you smell the circus Georgie? There's hotdogs, peanuts, cotton candy, and?
Georgie - "Popcorn?"
Pennywise - "Popcorn! Is that your favorite?"
Georgie - "Uh huh"
Pennywise - "Me too, because they POP, pop pop pop pop, pop pop pop *laughing*
Georgie - "I should get going now"
Pennywise "Ohh, without your boat?... Here... take It. ... Take it Georgie.
R.I.P. GEORGIE
that´s not all
Ik, im just rewriting the words from memory when I first watched IT
I read this in their voices NO I AM NOT OBSESSED WITH IT
G: *looses boat in sewer and looks for it*
P: *Opens his eyes*
G: "AAAAHH!"
P: "Hiyha Georgie. What a nice boat. Do you want it back?"
G: "Umm... Yes please."
P: "You look like a nice boy. I bet you have a lot of friends."
G: "Three but my brother's my best *inaudible."*
P: "Where is he?"
G: "In bed... sick."
P: "I bet I could cheer him up. I'll give him a balloon. Do you want a balloon too Georgie?"
G: "I'm not supposed to take stuff from strangers."
P: "Oh, well I'm Pennywise the DANCING clown! Pennywise... yes, meet Georgie. Georgie, meet Pennywise."
G: *Laughs in dumb child* "What are you doing in the sewer?"
P: "Well the storm blew me away! Blew the whole circus away." *Laughs* "Can you smell the circus Georgie? There's peanuts... Cotton candy... Hotdogs... aaaaaaaaannd?..."
G: "Popcorn?"
P: "YES! Is that your favorite? I like it because it goes POP! POP! POP, POP! *Laughs*
G: "POP! POP!" *Laughs*
P: *Laughs and then stops*
G: "Well I really have to go."
P: "Uh, *gulp* without your boat? *Raises boat* You don't wanna go without it. Bill's gonna kill you. Take it Georgie. Take iT."
G: *Leans in to grab it*
P: *Pulls it further away*
G: *Leans further*
P: *Opens mouth full of teeth and rips off Georgie's arm*
G: *Crawls away crying*
P: *Pulls him into the sewer*
And both Georgie and pennywise say at one point that Bill's gonna kill him
Poor Georgie. 2:39- this was really violent
Viktor Popov Yea I feel sad for Georgie
IT did
It's almost exactly what you picture when reading the novel so yeah it was not holds barred
quality conflict He meant that in the book, Pennywise pulled Georgie's arm off. He didn't bite it off.
He also means that he wanted to see the arm being torn from the skin
Just the music makes it scary
I sleep to the IT soundtrack.
Selina Kyle :3 same dude
Georgie was so cute he didn't deserve all that 😭
This movie was more scary then the 1990 version of IT.
I agree, even though it had the potential to still be even scarier than it was like the book. The 1990 miniseries is overrated as hell. People revere it as if it's Twin Peaks or Game of Thrones.
Dedric Silva true but older people are telling me the old one was scarier 😒😂
The only good thing about the mini series was Tim Curry as pennywise
Adalor Bunnugger it wasn't as scary but Tim Curry was a really really good Pennywise.
Dedric Silva Yeah, it's hilarious to think people were actually scared of IT 1990 (despite a great Tim Curry performance).
I mean.. come on!
WA-HAH! WA-HAH! WA-HAH! WA-HAH! WA-HAH! WA-HAH!
This kid dieing in this scene made me tear up.. & he didn't even get his boat back, what a theiving murderous asshole clown! Great scene!!!
krazy killa kash I cried many times
dieing
yes he did get the boat, theyr both floating in the sewers..
2:39 YOU´LL FLOAT TOO!
GEORGIE 💔
That scene is echoing in my mind. Bill Skåsgård gave an excellent performance that made me hate the creature. Once the "final" fight between It and the Losers Club commenced, I was easily rooting for the Losers. Overall, powerful and impacting scene in my eyes.
The Salmon Server Probably the best scene in the film
where am i Indeed.
"They all float down here Georgie."
Do you think kids deserve to die?
I feel so bad for him, like, he's just a little kid!
From 3:03 on gives me chills. The music is absolutely brilliant and creepy.
Same
It was hailing last night and i woke up of dreaming of being georgie and i was hearing this
I need Jesus after that scene
Me too
@Jesus thak you
@Jesus thank you jesus is lord
Why did i read that in all mights voice?
This dang movie blew me away I had tears in my eyes during this scene. It was so frightening and intense!
The end of this track is... intense to say the least.
"When you're down here, with me, YOU'LL FLOAT TOO!" That line from the book and the 1990 miniseries was so horrifying, I wish they added that to this film. But either way, it was great.
Tristram P.G. Amberson I was waiting for that line the whole opening of the movie and was so disappointed they didn’t use it. Love the movie none the less but still it would of been awesome to hear bills take on that line
@@jasonmaher9354 YES GEORGIE EVERYTHING FLOAT
WHEN YOU RE DOWN HERE WITH ME "YOU FLOAT TOOOOOO"
They used the quote with Georgie (IT); I thought that was a great way of subverting expectations with this iconic line and the kid played the part really well!
1:52 this moment was separate and more quiet and subtle in the scene, I'm looking for it.
You know it's good when just the music makes your heart pound a million times faster
2:44 omg those surprising honks of the circus will haunt me and I didn’t even hear it in the movie 🍿 when I saw it
😱😱😱
I'll never forget sitting there in the theater, overcoming the shock of what I just watched. This was the scene that all of this movie's advertising was centered around, and once it was over, I was rendered speechless. Mind you, I've seen plenty of R-rated horror films in my life, but this was a level of brutality that I hadn't seen before. We're all used to seeing grown adults get mutilated and killed, but never kids. As adults I think we all have a deep-rooted paternal instinct to protect children when they're harmed; and even though I'm not a parent myself, I can only imagine what this must have been like for those who are, since it's basically a parent's worst nightmare that plays out on screen.
Recently I decided to re-watch the movie on Blu-Ray. Usually I tend to skip past Georgie's death because of how brutal the sequence is, but this time I decided to brave it for the full experience. Upon revisiting the full scene, however, I had to pause the movie during the title sequence and collect myself for a moment. I do lament that nothing else in the rest of the movie comes close to matching how harrowing and disturbing Georgie's death is, but I'm glad that it didn't sugarcoat or dance around the brutality of possibly the most important plot point of the movie. It shocked me, it disturbed me, and I'm super grateful that it did. Otherwise the film would have been much weaker.
One of the best conversation i ever seen
i cried literally so hard watching this scene. i was like
"aw lil georgie an' pennywise are the perfect du- oH nOoooOooo"
"I am not supposed to take stuff from strangers"
"Oh well I'm pennywise the dancing clown!"
3:00 it's very scary!
Sorry the sound very scary became 3:11
God, ikr?! I love this soundtrack so much

In fact, I put this soundtrack as a ringtone for when my parents calle me😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Marcus Worsham Then where tf you walkin then?
Bitch gonna learn to fly
@@feelinlikeuzii yeah XD
Me and my friend literally walked in the streets at midnight and looked in the sewer parts where Georgy aaw pennywise🤡🖤
Uh that sound at 0.42 till about 0.55 gives me the shivers! you can just picture Pennywise in that drain with this music alone
Mizzsammy And the children singing
😓
the whispering at the end is the best part
2:39
Pennywise: *extends his mouth to reveal razor sharp teeth, and bites Georgie's arm off*
Georgie: AHHHHHH!!! GAAAHAHHHHHH AAAHHHH! NO, NO!!!
Pennywise: *drags Georgie under*
Gorgie: BILLY!!!
Permafrost the Fox I swear for God I almost cry and leave the movie hall, but I stayed on my seat thinking that I'll leave, and I didn't. I stayed till the last moment of IT.
The sad thing is that his last words.......... Was Billy 😢
That loud boom at 2:40 always gives me the chills
I imagine that the children's voices in the background are supposed to be like Pennywise's previous victims. Like he's using their singing to help him draw Georgie in. Even creepier is if that screaming voice at the end is Georgie's voice joining in with the rest of the children after his death.
this soundtrack is amazing just had to say that...has all the right emotions

2:40 This sounds like flowing blood spuiy from his arm
This song is terrifying
It’s intrusting tho, just as Georgie sealed his destiny by looking into that sewer, Pennywise sealed his own by killing Georgie

i was looking for this comment
gave me chills
This scene made me traumatized... anyone else got traumatized?
Derpy Mario SAME. I LOVE POOR GEORGIE!!!! ;_;
For like 2 weeks
I was screaming inside when Pennywise bit his arm off.
Pennywise: would you like a balloon, too, Georgie?
Georgie: I'm not supposed to take stuff from strangers.
Pennywise: Oh, well i'm Pennywise the dancing clown. Now we aren't strangers, are we?
That was an amazing scene, creeped me the hack out tho.
This movie has no limit
Admit it guys, you came for 3:08
Addison Kohl Yes I did. That's the best part!
I hope they reuse this theme when Pennywise eats Adrian in Chapter Two!😈
Karl Thornton or even better, when Stan’s wife finds him in the tub!
Storm blew me away, blew the whole circus away.
1:22
That humming tho.
2:39 this is giving me palpitations
Will never see or walk by a sewer the same!!!!
pop pop pop popcorn!!!
The Title Card is so terrifying I love it. I’m glad they brought it back for It Chapter Two
2:39 is the part when Georgie dies “SCREAMS!!!” “GETS DRAGED IN SEWER!!!” Me “holy shit” me “pissed my pants” Georgie “BILLY!!!”
Me “…what the fuck just happened”
I know there's that awesome drop at 2:39 when Georgie dies, but I think the music in the 1990 version for this scene built more tension.
AAAAAH!!!! ....BILLYYYYY!!!!!!!!
Joaquin Moises Vera Rodriguez POOR GEORGIE!!!!!!
After that scene my mum couldn't look at her teeth in the mirror for a whole 3 weeks lol it didn't affect me though (thankfully lol cause I'm only 13)
The cat knew what was up...
1:54 this part is my favorite
That old lady knew what was going to happen, she didn't HELP HIM!!!😠
Angel A. No. The adults are unaware cause Derry is IT, he controls the whole town. Read the book
Like hell she knew what was going to happen XD it was raining so she probably couldn't hear Georgie talk to someone and she ran off when she saw the blood on the streets. There was not much she could do to save him.
Ok, if I saw a kid outside in the rain looking into a storm drain or stopped in the gutter I would go out and ask them if everything's ok and wonder what the fuck they are doing lol. what if someone's pet was stuck in the sewer and the kid was trying to help it out or something. I wouldn't just sit on my porch with a cat ''oh some kid is crouching in the road over there looking into the sewer....meh.''
Well the cat was a witness at the scene of the crime....
Angel A. No. The town and adults are under pennywises control and he's made them oblivious
“Georgie. Yes, meet Pennywise. Pennywise, meet Georgie... now we aren’t strangers, are we?”
I brought a friend to see it in theater, he didn't read the book or anything. I told him it was expected to be cruel and especially towards kids; but when that arm got chopped he said out loud, «Oh really??», setting the mood further for him, haha. I said to him, 'told you I wasn't joking.'
Some people think it might be a movie for kids since they see the clown and children in it; I have to tell them it really isn't a movie for kids....
3:19 can anyone figure out what he/she/they/it's (he he) screaming?
I can pin point at the very end "oh no my boat" and before that "he's haunting you in your room" or something along the lines of that. And it sound like the audio of Georgie from the original tv series.
The-Nuked-Gamer thank you
The-Nuked-Gamer It also sounds like "Call 9/11!" I've no idea what it actually says. If it's even saying anything
The voice's actually are repeating what the voices say at the beginning of "27 Years Later", another IT song, which plays over the studio logos at the beginning of the movie, only difference is that it's much faster and distorted.
Here's the link to "27 Years Later" it's what the kids say in the first 40 seconds or so.
ruclips.net/video/y6lQMPE6MVE/видео.html
It's the lyrics to the nursery rhyme Oranges and Lemons, and it's sung throughout most of the film's score. That's probably because the song might be about child sacrifices, or public executions.
Damn that change...This movie is one of my faves omg. When my family first rented it from the Redbox, we waited until like 11:00 at night, idk what time it was XD but I was shook when I saw those teeth and the arm being ripped off. By the time the movie was done, I was crying my eyes out 🤣🤣🤣 I stayed up till 2AM cuz I was that scared 😝 I’ve watched it a million more times tho so I’m good. Now I’m a Pennywise fan girl XD the music is very well made, and I’m excited for the second one 😜
1:22 Can you smell the circus, Georgie?
The kids singing at 1:23 fit this scene perfectly.
Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop corn
Jesus fucking christ, I haven't seen the movie yet but the intensity at the end of the song tells me how traumatizing georgie's death scene is
Here.. Take it..
Very scary, but once I see it next week....I know it will be scary
I was so not expecting to see a child get his arm bitten off in the movie. I thought it was just going to be a typical horror film. I was wonderfully surprised
Here, take it...
TAKE IT GEORGIE
2:40 i hear a crunchy bite of pennywise killing georgie
who's tried listening to this on there own at night? such an experience!! :(
Question....... why are there different children chanting at the end in the actual film version of this track? Like I heard THIS version once in the theatre but on Netflix there’s no screaming near the end, just some kids chanting..... does anyone know why they have two different ends?
Like every other horror movie I thought he was gonna be dragged in off camera but nope :D
Would you have preferred the original version from the book or the movie version? It would of been even more traumatising if they had a birds eye view shot of Georgie laying on his back in the gutter, bleeding out and screaming his head off, the next shot is some of the neighbours stepping out onto the street looking horrified after seeing Georgie laying dead with one arm and the final shot is a close up of the drain with just Georgie’s bitten off stump in the frame of the camera and blood flowing into the drain with the water/rain
TAKE IT-A
LITTLE HELP!! *falls in the drain sweet* Billy!
Ok, I am brave enough to admit this. When IT 2017 came out, I went to go see it, the thing is though, I got the XD experience. So when the storm drain scene was coming up, I knew his death was probably going to be brutal. Let's just say, I had to leave the theater, that's how badly the scene scared me. And it still does to this day
EdgyLampost Dude. I saw the leaked Georgie/Pennywise conversation video a while before the movie came out. I watched it so fucking much because it looked and sounded incredible. Then, when I got round to watching the movie in a packed theater, I was fucking terrified from the start because I knew it was coming. And as soon as the movie joined up to where the leaked video started, my heart was fucking hammering because I knew what was coming and that made it even scarier. Nearly had a full-blown panic attack because of the pure anticipation and of finally seeing what happens to Georgie. It was so intense it nearly killed me, I swear 😅
Pennywise: Here... *TAKE IT!*
I'd like to think IT took his clown appearance from a traveling circus that went through Derry back when the settlers dissapeared (if circuses were a thing back then). Probably killing the actual clown to then replace him. With that in mind he's literally a walking clown corpse haha. I would would actually love to know if the book went into this at all...
I read the book once, but I really don't recall it talking about the actual form of Pennywise as anything more than a persona IT takes to lure in children, but it would actually make sense if he was an actual person since IT takes the form of human, "earthly" things. I really liked that there are subtle moments in the film that suggest that Pennywise was an actual person and IT probably ate him or just took his appearance. You can see that even when IT takes on the form of Pennywise, that he's not gotten used to "playing the part".
DaXzOr Kids love clowns so its the perfect tool to lure kids
Tails and Scales I think that will either be in deleted scenes or in the next film
tangoman75 Well the IT entity calls itself Robert Gray which is weird and I think that Pennywise the clown used to be a dude named Robert Gray but The IT entity got inspired by him and took the form of a clown.
I really wanna know what the children are saying/screaming at near the end of this soundtrack.
watching georgie die was very disturbing in my opinion 2:24
