So Jun is singing to a very famous Taiwanese female singer's song. Im from Taiwan and have to tell you guys how goooooood and amazing he sings in Chinese. I always appreciate Jun singing Korean and Japanese, but I noticed when he sings in his native language, he voice sounds more comfortable, confident, and he also adds another layer of emotion in his tone. I think maybe only native Chinese speakers can identify this somehow. Junhui is so talented. We stan. He deserves the world.

Something I've noticed about Jun is that he's very good at switching registers. you can hear it at the end of the song; his head and mixed voice easily mixes with his chest voice. I find his tone to be especially unique and it reminds of rippling water. Seriously, Junhui is so talented!

My thoughts exactly.... Jun is (no hate to the others I love them) a hidden gem. Someone who is talented, but is not given the chance to show it. Honestly, i really am proud of jun. Ever since he debuted, pledis never really give homie a proper solo or even a published cover. Until he entered that show, he went through so many obstacles and tried out variety of music types with different musicians. I remember him saying that there are many musicians that are better, but no one really can touch people’s heart. Now that he release this cover, it’s really overwhelming for me like the junhui we know now, he learn how to make decisions himself, and he gain confidence abt his voice. He's improved so much as a singer, seeing and hearing him shine fills my heart with joy. I hope seventeen's producers (looking at you, woozi and bumzu) get on with writing songs in some lower registers. Not just Jun, but the rest of the boys too, have really really nice lower registers that have always been criminally underutilised, and I really wanna hear them.
Jun is such an amazing artist. He's flexible; he can sing, dance, act, and he can also rap, mostly because he lets himself extend and enhance his talent. Something I've noticed about Jun is that he's very good at switching registers. you can hear it at the end of the song; his head and mixed voice easily mixes with his chest voice. I find his tone to be especially unique and it reminds of rippling water. Seriously, Junhui is so talented!

I always like everytime Jun sings, especially in his mother tounge. His voice really hits different when he's singing in chinese. He knows the depth of the song, he knows the real meaning thus he knows how to frame his feelings and emotion. I don't know his language at all, but music really breaks all the language barrier. My thoughts exactly.... Jun is (no hate to the others I love them) a hidden gem. Someone who is talented, but is not given the chance to show it. He is not even given alot of lines in songs (and very quiet in shows and what not) and I'm not so happy about that. Honestly, i really am proud of jun. Ever since he debuted, pledis never really give homie a proper solo or even a published cover. Until he entered that show, he went through so many obstacles and tried out variety of music types with different musicians. I remember him saying that there are many musicians that are better, but no one really can touch people’s heart. Now that he release this cover, it’s really overwhelming for me like the junhui we know now, he learn how to make decisions himself, and he gain confidence abt his voice. Moreover, he knows what to he wants and is willing to pursue his dreams in his career 🥺😭😩🤧
