- The Slurry season kicks off with a bang with Wallace Contracts after the purchase of 3 NEW RedRock Tankers! On their first day out the whole fleet was out 6 tractor and tankers and a lorry and tanker. Craig and Conor got chatting to Ethan, Gareth and Adam about the season ahead.

What is the point in the ban? Wouldn't spreading a cow byproduct be better than artificial fertilizer? What happens to the slurry during the ban?

the point of the ban is actually to minimize the amount of nitrogen going into nearby rivers and ditches, wich is just a waste of nitrogen but also increases algae growth. The plants are in like a sleeping stage when it's frozen in the ground so if you would go out and dump a couple of tonnes slurry, nothing would have happened anyways.

Would that have been your fastrac i met goin up to their place one day? I was on a 1950s dumper so i remember the size of it passing me pretty well
Way back during the summer? I did leave that new trailer down there one evening. Fair old rig to be fair.
@Grassmen mighta been the summer or I met a fastrac In November just coming up to the crossroads near their yard, all I remember is black reek flying out the dumper and this big thing shaking the ground while it flew past me
