I know it might be boring to some but can you a video of the top 5 books a future gemologist or geologist should have? You guys are awesome by the way! Amazing videos
Fantastic video, more great knowledge, awesome, wow some very surprising ones, hard to pick out of them but the first is sweet ,awesome presentation thank you
Wow, to be honest I’d never heard of any of these before, except for Grandidierite. My favourite was Maw Sit Sit; loved the name & the colours. Thanks for sharing. 😀
I always thought maw sit sit was an opaque emerald with black inclusion stripes lol. I am happy to have seen a few new things and to hear "piezoelectricy" being mentioned. I have a theory about piezoelectricity being created in seismically active areas with much quartz and others , discharging into the atmosphere which can interact with the earths magnetic fields in anomalous areas known as power vortex's. When that occurs with the right amperage and voltage and the magnetic fields are extra strong , plus interaction with certain levels of the electromagnetic spectrum as non visible and visible light which directly interacts with the quantum realm , we get portals to elsewhere and elsewhen opening and closing . Apparently backyard quantum physics is a hobby of mine and I never knew it until I heard some physicists and engineers talk about portals. Turns out my own ,personal conclusions from my own studying are in line with some professional scientists and researchers . I believe the natural concentrations of heavy minerals near and in moving water can effect the environment around it in odd ways too. Awesome video.
I'm amazed to see these new gemstones that I never heard of, they're very unique.😲😃💎 It's fascinating to learn the facts about them like how they get their names, the history and where they're form.🤔📙 My favorite is the sugelite gemstone.😊💜💎 Thanks again for teaching us about them. Nice video.😉👍👨🏫👩🏫🔎💎
Some of these are new and amazing to me! Can you do an episode on synthetic vs mined gems, and explain why everyone doesn’t just get synthetic? I mean, understand the desire to have something rare, but what are the downsides, if any, to getting a synthetic ruby ring, for example? Is there a difference in color, luster, hardness, etc? Thank you so much, I love this channel and I miss Natalie!
Glad you are enjoying the channel! We can certainly talk about that more in the future. Synthetics have become very advanced and many synthetic rubies can be quite difficult to tell apart from mined gems, without a high degree of magnification or advanced testing. The apparent physical properties are often essentially identical.
I've got a great sugalite centerpiece crystal & beefed necklace. Shout out to "Better Than Dad's Bead Co". Next 2 on my radar are grandidierite & benitoite. Something padparadscha color, not necessarily sapphire, but tourmaline, zircon or spinel. Oh yes, & iolite....
Paesina reminds me of a what I overheard a little boy saying about picture jasper. When his Rockhound grandfather showed him a slab the kid said "Oh! That's how the Earth takes pictures!" Maybe those stones formed millions of years ago do look like the landscapes of the planet at that time? Out of the mouths of babes...🌋🖼️🌋

That’s music to my ears!
This is incredible!
I heard 3-4 of them and I own a beautiful paesina from Florence
Orpiment will also have micro explosions under intense light. If you ever see any displays of orpiment they will always be surrounded by yellow dust.

Paesina! So cool!!
I only recognized two gems from this list lol.
Also, you guys should do an episode on the Ether crystals and other gems from Xenoblade!
Hiiiii love your videos ❤️👍
Orpiment is one of the colorants of bumblebee jasper, along with realgar, so you _might_ just find orpiment on jewelry.
Hiiii
I found suguilite a heart shape I love the color

Great video! Can you please talk about baryte?!?
I'm familiar with Sugalite. I have some. Most likely I got it from JTV , I honestly don't remember.
I have Sugalite , Orpiment and Bastnaesite
I bet those furniture pieces are very very expensive. I would love to get one of them .
Love your videos! Do you have a video on hackmanite?
Not yet, but stay tuned!
I have a piece of grandidierite and a couple pieces of sugelite..

A red mineral called Realgar decays over time and turns into Orpiment. So, be careful.
Mud fossils channel The Mud Fossil Process creates perfectly preserved
Tugtupite better be on this list yo
my Siri turns on every time you guys say paesina xd
If a material like Orpiment is too dangerous or poisonous to wear, it is NOT a Gemstone.
I am a mustache enthusiast
Is Natalie coming back.
