For few years I check lots of records in youtube with flower beds. You flower beds are my loved ones and most beautiful for me . I look at them lots of times and it is never bored. Your flower beds are exactly as I like and dream to have. Thanks and good luck
I love their chemistry :) She knows exactly what she's doing with the garden. It's absolutely gorgeous. I hope one day to have my backyard nice and lush
Everything just looks beautiful even the large trees in her area. You can't see other people's fences, houses, trampolines in the yard etc....What a beautiful property overall.
You guys are fun to watch. Your Hubby I have no doubt is spoiling you . Buying all those beautiful plants 😅. I feel a little less guilty now buying plants too each time I go to home depot or our nursery nearby.
Your Garden is Stunning! Plants are beautifully arrange. Not to Brag but I have also beautiful big flower garden on our yard. I called that as my therapy it relieves my stress every time I do gardening and I also love plants. Every Spring & summer visitors and friends who drop by ask me if they can take pictures. They think I spent so much money for it but I did not.I do not want to spend so much money for my hobbies. I divide perennial plants, plant from cuttings, grow flower seeds and exchange plants with friends all of these minimize the cost a lot, but if its hard work? Yes it is I did 95%(my husband busy working too). But I don't mind the work as well as I can see the result when it Blooms. Its worth it. Keep Gardening!
I don't consider that bragging at all... (all my vides would be bragging if that was the case) but sharing experiences of hard work and reward are what makes our souls have purpose...Thats what I try to do in my videos. Gardening is certainly that for many of us. I would love to see your gardens... Feel free to share some on my FB page! I love to see others share their gardens. facebook.com/GreenThumbDesigner
Beautiful... I understand all the hard work, but I also understand that you don'w think of it as Work or it being hard. The garden is just,,,, Joy. Yes, you do not think of it as joy, until you see it through someone else eyes. So I applaud you. Much appreciated. (from one gardener to another)
I so appreciate you and your husband taking the time to share your garden with my wife and I. It really was a cool blessing. Most of the echinacea that I have are magnums white swan and things like that, A couple of the ones you mentioned really caught my ear. I really like salvia as well. Don’t have any fancy daylilies yet just a great deal of Stella D’Oro‘s. God bless you all and thank you again.
I don’t know how I missed this one last year. This is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are wonderful. I love this. Your hubby is a hoot. My trouble is John goes to the garden centers with me so he knows what everything costs. Looking forward to seeing this years garden❤️❤️❤️
Too funny...I used to want him to go with me to carry things and pull the cart but then i had the same problem! Now I purchase and hope its planted before he gets home to stay out of trouble! haha!
Lovelovelove this garden!!! The layout is gorgeous and really good advice about planting in bunches for maximum impact. Also admire your humbleness, “I don’t have fans, my garden has fans!” But you put it together and have nurtured it to perfection, nice job!
My husband helps me in making flower beds, boxes and various garden chores but the best is him taking pride over the flowers whenever his friends came to visit which is funny to watch.
I bought my first house last year in detroit and this was my first spring owning my own home and a blank slate, now I know how much work she puts into this not just in spring but weekly
I would spend every penny to maintain and have a garden that is native, ever-blooming, multi-color, scheduled blooming and Native animal friendly. I would be in heaven just to walk through that garden!! BTW, women can garden all on their own. My mom did and she taught me how to do it.
Ilove your garden.iam.a avid&master gardener. Its take years for a beautiful yard . ihave been working on my yard and garden for 22yrs.iam 63yrs.old now and there always things to do,and still learning better ways to enhance my knowledge on protecting my garden and yard without chemicals, so there will be more beautiful creatures visiting it ,the nature way.
The best part of gardening is you are always learning. The garden has been my greatest teacher. When I started planting my first harden it was to make my yard pretty.... I have learned so much about the mini-ecosystems I’ve created and really try to keep them as healthy and diverse as I can without chemicals. I’ve been rewarded for it with all of the beautiful visitors. It’s amazing!
Towards the end: and some gardens are darn expensive 😜🤣🤣... Stunning, beautiful and amazing, congratulations for both of you in you beautiful property and making it work 🌷🌺🌹🪴🌻
Very beautiful and excellent design. The amount of some things just shouldn't be discussed with our spouses. If my wife knew how much I had in my obsession of Japanese Maples she would freak out.
Haha! I agree! Japanese maples are definitely pricey! I have two rare babies that are 18” tall, I fear that may be my next addiction.... they are gorgeous!
I love all the flowers in your garden! 🤩 I wish we had them available for purchase here in Hawaii but we don't, it's depressing! I guess they only sell what grows in this climate. I'm seeding my own cone flowers anyway ,since I can't buy them here, some are already sprouting but people say they won't grow without a cold winter. Lol, I already planted some in my garden 😅. We'll see what happens. I love your colorful garden! Makes me crazy when I see bright colorful flowers! Keep up the great work, and I do agree with your husband. My bf won't help me do a single thing when it comes to gardening.😣 He only complains when I ask him to help me to do something. Damb! Wish I had a man who loves gardening! My garden would be fabulous like yours!.😂👍🤙🌈🌟🌟🌟🌟
So pretty 😍🦋..lol..don't ever ask the cost 🤪..when I started my garden..every paycheck ..I would set aside an amount for my garden starting in April that went to flowers and shurbs. I wouldnt eat out and curb all other spending. It's worth it..it's so therapeutic for me.
This was an awesome video. Could be great to go through each plant and quickly give bits of insight (when they flower, what zones, how to maintain). That being said, it looks like there were lots more gardens to cover. Would love to see them all!
I love everything about this video... the flowers the women and the man behind the camera.. it was fun watching the whole video. Looking forward for more from u n ur garden.
II just like to say your garden is absolutely fantastic and I like to say keep up the good work and thank you for sharing this beautiful with video with us and be safe😍😍❤❤
Very nice show of color. I planted American Spirit coneflower and the pastel colors came back blood red (lol) and a white daisy is amazing in late summer.
Interesting about the coneflowers! I’ve saved seed and had it come back like the native pink ones. 😀 I think you’re right about the daisy! I’ll see where I can squeeze some in.
LOVE all the Coneflowers!!! I have to keep any I still have in pots due to groundhogs. :/ You have a great eye for placing flowers in just the right spot - your garden is a masterpiece! P.S. Thanks for all the beautiful footage camera man. ;)
loved the cone flowers bought some for my garden, and let the wife plant them, between mowing lawn, cooking and painting house she is doing a great job, all i got to do now is get her a job to pay for them all
Beautiful garden and truly an inspiration to new gardener like me. Lots of colors and great work. I wish I had a garden like this. If you would live in Michigan I would hire you in a blink of an eye. Stunning and beautiful!
A few plants at a time! Thats what i did. I added plants and edged the garden a little bigger every year and after 5 years, it took shape and bloom to a whole other level.
I love your beautiful garden . If you deadhead some flowers they will keep blooming, I buy my perennials end of season in clearance but I have to wait for next season to enjoy them . Thank You for this video , congratulations your garden is beautiful Question? How you keep your flowers so healthy
I’m only about 90 minutes from you in the Springfield, Massachusetts area, my youngest daughter went to St .Rose College in Albany for her Masters degree . Awesome. I have Ruby Spider in my garden ,too , next time you come to Connecticut stop by my house and check out my garden. It’s only 1 year old . Love what you did in your garden areas , you have an amazing array of plants und a great eye for design
Thank you! I buy from local nurseries mostly or special order by mail if necessary. I also try to visit specialty nurseries within 2 hours from me or plant sales at botanical gardens .
Can you do a video on your hosta garden...never saw a video this year on your many tree peonies....want to see your other gardens....I am in zone 5b somewhat close to you and have a small private nursery of daylilies, every color from white to deep purple, very reasonable prices to reduce my herd...great video...your knowledge of gardening is very valuable to alot of beginning gardeners....TFS
Kathy Ryan Yes! I will work on that. My daughter was in the hospital for 2 weeks in April and her care after returning home was very intense. I don’t have much video of the tree peonies but definitely snapped a few good pictures. I will try to put a slideshow together for you! I will see what I have on my hostas this year also. 🙂
@@kathyryan4153 Yes! We are very lucky! She has recovered well. (She lost her hair during the stress of her ordeal, which is why her hair is so short!) Not sure if you follow our Facebook page... but I have lots of photos there also! (Gardening WITH KIDS)
Oh that always happens here too I just have to manage it. I do edge it deep in the spring to shape it and when I mulch I fill that deep edge. That’s helps to keep the edge a little more defined. 🙂
Just happened to us last night... I will post a video... the tree peonies suffer the worst... tonight is the last of the freeze temps overnight but i expect everything to regroup and carry on! Nothing sends a gardener into a tizzy like a two day cold snap! haha

Thanks for the kind words Rasa! ❤️
The garden is great but the back and forth between those two are even better and worth the price of admissions. 😂😂😂
Finally a gardening RUclips channel that’s in my zone!

Thank you! I appreciate that!
New section of the yard dedicated to a cottage garden. Glad I watched this!
Awesome. good luck! I LOVE the look of a cottage garden! Still figuring mine out but it WILL happen!
She’s not going to the garden center alone anymore.😄😄
Beautiful garden!☺️
I'm waiting for that rule.... except he knows if he went with me, it could mean worse for him! haha
@@GuidingGreenThumbs 😄 I know exactly what you mean. May God bless our wonderful husbands!

He does spoil me! And he tolerates my impulse buys 😂 I am very lucky!
I loved the tour. The back and forth between you and your husband cracked me up! My hubby also takes credit for the heavy work too
Oh yes! He makes things fun, complains but loves the end results 😂
