My prediction:

Butcher tries to kill all the supes in the world with the serum. Then Ryan and the boys team shows up and fights evil butcher and finally they will succeed in killing butcher.
(In this theory, butcher couldnt able to control himself because he is fully controlled by joe kessler. So in the last minute butcher fought joe kessler for to give humanity a chance! which gives ryan and the boys team enough time to kill butcher.
Then Ryan became the balance between supes and normal humans. An Introduction of a Superman!

My theory : Star light, one and only person who is not arrested by homelander army. Homelander army will search for her in further season.
Billy butcher is a monster and his only aim is to kill home lander. So billy butcher gonna hunt homelander's army.
The boys team those were arrested will be kept in a no door room(like shown in gen v last episode). Home lander defentely have a mindset that each and every person in boys must be killed by him.
So all the boys team will be gathered in one place (room) for home lander.
In gen v, when the team goes to the cate's mind, there is cameo of soldier boy. So there is a possible if cate meets soldier boy, she won't control him instead she assist him. May be cate and soldier boy against home lander.
Sister sage is in trouble now because inside 7 team except home lander all other were hate her including Ashley(she is sup now. may be she'll kill sister sage).
Suppose sister sage was saved by home lander, she can able to execute her phase 2. Even though Home lander lead the army, sister sage leads the home lander.
Billy butcher is sup now. He killed neumen. He may kill many sups and became sups-killer.
And star light finds the secret room where the boys were arrested. When she finds and open the room, she saw the gen v team. Instead of saving boys team, she saves gen v team and combine them to boys team.
All these work can be done by only one person and his name is A-train. He can visit all the in city just in 3 minutes. He knows all the secret of home lander and he can travel anywhere at anytime. He can know where the gen-v team arrested. Even though sister sage hide everything that A-train knows it's not so tuf to A-train to do all these things.
If mave returns, Mave will join to Boys team.
