It’s 2024 and this video is still helpful for dealing with the window regulators. I just removed and lubricated the seized regulator on my 900 convertible, with the extra difficulty of not having a window frame to tape the loose window on, but got there in the end! Now to get a new motor to replace the seized old one.
This is the first positive thing about Mike that I've seen inferred, haha. Like most comments I've seen, I can't stand his segments because of the acting and severe personal dislike for haggling. It's good you appreciated the dynamic, though :)
@@illitero The personality mix is the thing, like sweet and sour chicken, people can like either, but I think they are at their best when together, the contrasts make them both shine.
Hope my mechanic can sort out my jammed front right caliper, its the inner brake mechanism and hope they can machined it. Love the ride especially the sunroof.
You didn't replace the brake calipers as described in the title, also, you should have greased all of the rollers and pivot points on the window regulator while you had it out.
7:52 DON'T SLAM THE DOOR!! I own Saabs and Volvos, and their doors are so well aligned. Well, not so much on my 1997 900 before I did an alignment, but that thing is about three levels deep a beater. But even on that NG900, I'm ALWAYS having to yell at friends and the girlfriend to not slam the door. It's always as a joke, but it's a genuine plague of people not paying attention to what they're feeling and putting a standard amount of ugga (sometimes dugga) into shit.
My all time favourite Wheeler dealers episode.

I miss Ed, he does have his won YT but as a package it just worked.

Am I the only one who thinks WD was good with Edd and it's good with the new fellow. Also Mike's a good guy. Nothing stays the same forever, boomers!
@@Joomsan Never said anything about the new fella, just enjoyed the mix when it was Ed. And I'm not a boomer tbf.
The show was much better when it started. Regular guys for the most part fixing and selling regular cars. The move to the USA ruined it.
I miss Edd
Then go watch his youtube show
Thx M8!
Edd was soooooo cute.

Well, how are you supposed to close the door then on Swedish cars then?
Edd, wear gloves next time, which you should have done back when you shot this video, I know you use them now. Asbestos and oil on your hands--bad.
This was 2nd episode of the first season, even Edd was a rookie back then.
Worst auto repair photography ever. Everything is in shadow.
Probably 10 year old
2003
Shit brake job. No new hardware, nothing lubricated.
