Cheers for the video, looking to do some analysis to plug values into a GEM patch and this now has me on the right track

Hi, thanks for the video :) How can I play the signal (from the microphone) only when the signal level is above -30dB?

If you make the graphical equaliser operate on a logarithmic scale as opposed to a linear one it will be much easier to use and visualise

Good suggestion - thanks Horton... You're right- that would spread the controls out in a way that would make it much more intuitive to interact with.

Hi Andrew, thank you for the tutorial videos! I just started working with Pure Data to make a spectral morphing patch, which will require spectral analysis and additive resynthesis. Would you be open to answering some questions or offering any guidance over private messages? Thanks!

Sorry Matthew- my pd is now quite rusty as it's been several years since I last used it. So... I think I wouldn't be much use. The forums here look active though: forum.pdpatchrepo.info/

Sorry Luka - they're not. The pd patches are though if that's any use: andrewjohnston.net/pure-data/
