Crochet hook size L-11 (8 mm)
Yarn Needle.
To adjust size of afghan use the stitch multiple of 4 plus 2.

Thank you for sharing different stitch patterns. I enjoy crocheting blankets and I've followed several of your tutorials. With this one though, I kept wanting to make a DC V-stitch instead of the (SC, ch 2, SC). So I tried it that way & it's turning out very well. 😊

I also love the pattern and color. I am currently making one with 8MMS hook, premier puzzle yarn in brown tones. I'm loving it so far. I might do a different border, but again, the pattern is beautiful.
I love working with thick or blunt bulky yarn. It works up very quickly.

Walmart has the 328yd skeins right now. Knitting a snow white baby blanket. After its washed this yarn is sooooo soft! It does pill, but less if washed and dried in a laundry bag! I passed up the purple, but now after seeing it worked up... it'll be my next project.

These are some of my favorite colors! Since I was 4 yrs old.....laugh but I’ve had strong choice of preferred colors at an early age. My mother has told me stories growing up. They come back to me in colors and stories.

just to let you know, when you switch to start row 2, you have a jump like repeat that has you saying chain 1 and turn twice.

I finally finished mine! Used the same yarn, just a different color. I think I screwed up the ends/beginnings of rows but somehow it came out relative even 😳 it is so warm and cuddly. I will do another in a different color and try to keep the ends correct! Thank you for this lovely pattern!

If you know of a baby blanket on the dainty yet soft side tight weave (if such a blanket so to keep babies fingers from hooking in and covering their face, I would love to hear. Carrie you can use any yarn you want just use the recommended hook size on the label of the yarn you use and if you have to change the size, use the stitch multiple above or in the video

I would love to attempt this, but cannot keep edges straight ever! Do you have a way you keep your blanket edges straight that you can share?
I can never keep the edges straight either, thats why I always add a border...it straightens my mess right up lol
