I play mostly career mode and the only thing that really makes me rage is when the game decides you won't win this match. Its not that I hate losing (I love to play realisticly, selling my best players when bigger clubs come along, so it actually takes longer to be a top team), it's that I feel like I can't do anything about it. You feel that the opponent will score even when they are in the middle of the pitch because you can't even come close and they are playin like prime Barcelona. Or when your players start missing everyshot, even 1vs1 or open goals. Its like not having any control which is really, really frustrating
Yup that's exactly what pisses me off. I don't mind if the other team is playing better but don't mess with my players. They become slow and sluggish for no reason even with a full stamina. The game interferes with your players and team too much and you can feel the responsiveness drop. That drives me insane.

I play career exclusively and I feel this so much. There are really moments in this game where you feel like some switch has just been flipped and you might as well stop trying, because no matter what the CPU/AI will score now. A subpar opponent you've been able to control pretty well for 70 minutes and suddenly they start short passing their way up the pitch like they have a squad full of Messis, after every succcessful tackle you pull off the ball just goes directly to another player of them, and even if you manage to block their shots a couple of times it somehow becomes impossible to clear the ball out of your own box and they score with the 6th shot in 10 seconds. Also, what I hate about FC24 is the shitty balancing of lower tier clubs and players. If you start with a team with players with an 65-75 average and play against other teams of similar class you'll soon notice that the attackers with such ratings can be quite good actually, pulling off insane shots into the corner of the goal regularly. But defending with 65-70 rated players is IMPOSSIBLE. There is literally nothing you can do to properly defend, even while playing very disciplined. In the first 3 seasons of my current career I've conceded a ridiculous amount of goals, it's just that I scored even more. You wouldn't believe how many 6-4 wins etc. I had in this current career. Playing with such teams feels very broken, it's as if EA never really intended to make them actually balanced and playable because 90% of players will simply go for City, Real, PSG or Bayern anyway and never play with teams that are not 80+ rated players across the board.
@@Hurricane2k8 yeah exactly. Whats funny is that, when starting with a low rated club like in the third devision, its the opposite. The AI is so easy, even on the hardest difficulty, because thes 60 rated players are so shit that you can even score with 50 rated players
It makes me rage because I’m literally fighting make my own commands work. I’m not playing a game I’m fighting against it. That’s just the start. 90% of the games I lose in champs I have better stats and XG than my opponent (I’m a rank 1 elite div player). I simply lost because the shooting mechanics are god awful or my defenders were on ice skates. It’s such a bad experience
As someone who sucks this is true.I was winning 6-3 and my opponent scored a ridiculous goal which shouldn’t have gone in and my player were stuck in mud,they can’t pass at all and can’t defend for their lifes
I am very fortunate that I am a Manager Career nerd who stopped touching FUT after 17'. My policy when one of these glitches occurs is that I am allowed to restart the match if I don't make a comeback naturally.
Its so random nowdays, it all depends on your tactics, if yours are better than the oponent, congrats you got yourself a game, if not, you will be fighting both the rival and your own players cuz they will not do what they have to do.
old gamer here, old enough to remember when games were made by gamers, for gamers, as a way to share an art form. Here is my advice to the youngins, you have to understand WHY the developer developed the game and what their end goal is. For many indie games, its to share art, or a story, but FC24 was developed to get people to buy FUT cards. If you understand that then you will understand why the developers manipulate your dopamine and cortisol to get you to buy more. Its not about fair or compelling gameplay but "how do we get this player JUST angry enough to get them to buy new card packs" and "how do we trickle rewards to pique their dopamine" to want that hit again. I got FC24 about 2 months ago because it was the PSN free game of the month, it also came with a free card pack...any good drug dealer knows you give away the first hit of heroine for free.

Did you notice that when someone has a sick striker card, your keeper often dives well but just doesn't fully extend the arms? Like he keeps the elbow flexed and the hand close to his body, therefore letting the ball go through inches from his face. It's so annoying. Like they can't make the guy shoot any better, so the game starts nerfing your keeper

In older fifa even if you kicked the ball full power from even like 5 yards out like right next to the sideline you would most of the time still lose the ball, also, if a shot was blocked and the shooting player had momentum they would always fall over, which meant that they couldnt just shoot again.
I just recently became a viewer and saw your video of toxic fifa player types, so I want to mention a funny story about that here. My opponent was leading 3-1 at half time, it was a friendly match for some objective, I knew I could beat the guy, so didn't want to give up, and he messaged me at half time, telling me how much I suck. Then I went on to equalize 10 minutes into the second half, and he dc'd at 3-3 so I don't get to turn the game around, and he started messaging me again, and told me I'm a sweat and so boring for not giving up and letting him progress his objective, since it was obvious I was gonna lose (khmm after I equalized). So basically he wanted me to quit because he had a two goal lead so he can progress with his objective when, and he was mad I tried and actually came back, because its faster if I just quit and move on (except I don't get anything from it, and give up a winnable game when the next might be even harder...) I only had 5 games in said friendly mode a day, and I knew for sure I could win, that's why I kept going. Plus the fact that he shittalked me at half time only to quit on a draw is maximum pettiness, and honestly a massive W for me. I wasn't even mad, I was just happy to destroy him so hard lol.

Hope this video gets 1MIL views and an EA higher up sees it. I was a FIFA fan till 2014. Left it till 2022. After 2022, I just vowed never to get another FIFA. My life is so much more peaceful. But now I rage in other online games. So I've switched to casual player....its amazing. You play with friends and don't care too much about the issues.

i rage because of three reasons:1. I play with a controller viewer(basically i can see the inputs of my controller on the screen) and i do that just so i can see after the game(if i have lost) why i lost and what i could have done better.WELL, 8/10 times it wasn't a wrong input just a pass that was supposed to go backwards go in front or my player shooting right even though i targetted left.2. Through ball going LITERALLY through the whole attacking line because it targets a LB that shouldn't even be here in the first place.3. Players just refusing to listen to my commands
In terms of random and bizarre moments this is by far the worst I've played to date. The games that have come before all had their moments but I've seen things I've never seen in other games previously - and that's before you mention the annoying little glitches. Fore example, I especially love those moments when your opponent's player gets knocked onto his ass while challenging for the ball yet somehow has the ability to still fully get up off the ground, run over and get to the ball quicker than you despite you having a head start and already running towards it.
Fairness, people and even animals have psychological need for fairness. in a fighting game, both players have equal access to all characters and their is no opportunity for random chance to effect the outcome. Fifa and especially Ultimate Team, you dont have access to the same teams and random chance can dictate a competitive game which can leave players feeling annoyed that the game ''let the opponent win.'' Random chance also dictate a persons team through packs, if you dont spend money on the game your team is influenced by the outcome of sbc's and packs. If you open and Icon pack and use all your fodder for Base Gary Lineker, It stings just that much more knowing that someone else got R9 or Zidane.
I don't have a wall of clips, but I do have a wall of screenshots from games where I deserved 4 goals and the opponent 1, besides having lots more shots on goal, more posession, better passing, more tackles, and more dribbles, but ended up losing 6-0 or 8-2. Certain games your keeper just can't catch a ball
Winning feels shit because mostly it is undeserved, goals are always the same. Players are outdated after one week. Servers are absolutely terrible and the times you have no control what happens on the field is insane
The ball fazing through the player has been there since fifa 13 when u tried to do the finesse shot the ball used to get cliped through the boots of the player and then he used to take the shot
The thing is with the ball phasing through players, there's not really much wrong with it. All that's happening is the engine calculates what it needs to, and then the animations are applied to give the best representation of what the engine is saying. A player will take a shot, the engine will determine that it goes in, the goalkeeper does a diving animation, and the ball is meant to go in so it'll phase through the hand etc.
I basically never rage at games anymore. I get a bit shouty in CS2 but that's about it. Within a single season of career mode I now have three massive holes in my desk. Thanks EA
I think the thing that pisses me off the most is when your in a tight 1-1 game where it can go either way and your opponent scores in the 92' and hits a griddy because he knows you cant respond. I will typically switch off when that happens. People feel the need to be toxic and maybe its just me but i cant understand it
Maybe I'm used to it because in south america football fans are just like that in real life too, mocking the rival is a part of the game. I don't care for that really, what drives me mad is the ways in which EA boosts star players by nerfing the opposite side. For example great striker cards definitely nerf the opponent's keeper. I've seen it too many times to believe otherwise
Funnily enough, I actually played a shit ton this year. My main game has been dead by daylight for years, and I've reached almost 5k hours recently and had a severe burnout, so I bought the new fifa, which I would usually only get a new one of every 2 or 3 years, because yearly its just not worth it. Now don't get me wrong, I still hate it, but its kinda refershing to play some games until I get really angry and its not refreshing anymore...But I actually have a decent playtime, my most played player, having around 900 games to him, and he wasn't even always in my squad, so I already played a good 1000 matches.
80% discount on Spring Sale and I still haven't got EAFC 24. Not missing any of these inconsistent online gameplay riddled with input lags even just for a little bit. If I can do it, so can you.
I won a game with the glitch at around the 3:00 mark. The ball shot to the other side like a canon, and I got a corner out of that. I scored with that corner. In the 90th minute. I immediately apologized after the game, but he wasn't toxic at all and just laughed at it. I still remember that. Happened in like November or something.
You forgot adding the tournaments and leagues demand you to win. Can't loose that much on Champs or you will get a bad rank, can't lose that much on Rivals because you won't get ranked up. The super inflexible rewards model is a contradiction by EA, knowing they just deployed the most random sh*t ever. The cherry on the top is that meta players are so important that everybody has the pressure to do well.
the real point is that me playing this game caused me to rage overall, back in the day i never raged in a game, and even if i did it never got physical like hitting my desk just maybe 1 kurwa this way or another, but the more i played the more used i got used to raging even in other games

I recently played against a friend just couch coop style, and he fouled my fullback right next to my own box. The camera glitched a little, went over the whole pitch to the other side and suddenly my striker was preparing to take a penalty. 😅
2:28 one of my favourite moments in a football game was when I scored a goal that phased through the keepers body. it wasn't a new game tho, it was Michael Owens 99. I thought phasing through bodies was a remnant of the past... not present holy hell

I simply cannot play online because every time im attacking it seems my whole opponents team is in the way, when they attack me there is hardly anyone there and the few defenders seem to run away from the attacking player I know im just bad at the game and im still learning but all i feel playing is stress
Player switching mechanics, ai positioning when you don’t control them, passes not registering or being played properly and the list goes on. NPC teams also seem to be immune because they are coded in. The game lacks quality
This is why its wild to me people take this game serious enough to send messages after games. Like its such a random game of shit happening to where winning and losing doesn't matter, bc the person losing might only be losing bc the game is fucking up for them, but not for the person who won. People are winning from benefiting from bad gameplay and losing for bad gameplay, but then some people ignore this and feel the need to be toxic. FC 24 is a player vs player vs Game, its a triple threat match and you never know if the game is gonna hit you or the other player with the chair. It might hit your opponent 1st half, then you 2nd half so the game can be a 4-4 draw.
Same for FC mobile. I can tackle a player and the ball will somehow bounce into their favour multiple times. I have had players use their weak foot to shoot when they are in a position to use their strong foot. I have passed to players then the game auto switches off the receiver making me concede goals I have experienced a whole lot. EA needs to get their shit together.
ive had the hardest games ive ever played on seasons vs people who are on losing streaks with terrible records. the game tries so hard to help bad players and hurt good players its truly a horrible game. ive never played any other game that tries so hard to manipulate the outcome like this: in any real game that is skill based (or sport,) the chance of an average player beating a great player is almost impossible, yet in fifa/ fc they get such big upgrades (for being bad) that those games can easily become competitve. its a joke

Deleted Fifa long time ago, broke 4 controllers and 2 TVs because of it, got into fights with my family constantly whenever I was playing. I think it depends on your character. I don’t have the personality for Fifa online no matter how much I enjoy it. It does more harm than good.
Not to mention things will straight up not register, this is especially bad during bad gameplay, you have to spam a skill 4 times only for it to register halfway through your analog movement and do a completely different skill
Just a week ago I thought my controller had a malfunction because in 4 different occasions, I pressed to make a through ball and it didn't register. Two of those were 90% assured 1-on-1 BTW. But it ONLY happened with through balls. So naturally I assumed my triangle button was on its way out. Turns out it wasn't. Next play session, it didn't happen once. Fucking game man

I feel like there are 3 main reasons why im always frustrated in fifa (i play fifa 23 manager career and just a bit of other modes so i play against ai on world class) 1) obviously the glitches, its infuriating when you see the devs adding thousands of animations into the game and then you still see the ball phasing through players legs even when they are shooting the goal, the replay even shows it close up and slowed down for you to see. Like guys just add hard collision to the models i dont believe it will be less realistic than this. 2) the lack of control: The ai is shit and the worst part is you can not control it. The tactics and personal objectives you set for the players seldom lead to anything really, the sidebacks whom you tell to stay back will sprint across the field and then back again when the counterattack starts, midfielders often just stand by when defending looking at the opponents passing the ball near my box and i dont know what i can do about it. The lack of control is what kills me. Like its bad to lose in counter strike but you know the opponents most of the time just played better, aimed better etc, here i concede goals because my players just stand there and watch while i try to defend with one of them at a time. 3) the inconsistency: like you play barca in the CL quarter and you lose the first match, it was close, but they control the field, they score goals. Then the second match starts and barca is a bunch of middleschoolers in the yard who just watch as you pass the ball around them and score. Because of this it even feels like the game tampers with player stats and skills because yes i am an underdog againt barca, im playing kobenhavn, i expect them to be better in the first match, but what i dont expect is them somehow getting worse a week later. The last thing is just a tip if you tamper with gamerules for singleplayer: I made the mistake of turning on penalties for playing with hands and oh my god even though it led to some funny moments and goals for me they didnt feel deserved and then i got penalised when the ball literally hit the shoulder of my defender in the box (like not the arm, the shoulder, you know, totally allowed body part to touch the ball with) and then conceded a penalty so dont make the mistake, dont turn it on.
The cheat mechanic for the AI in this game is horrible. I usually only play squad battles, just because I don’t have the time to “get gud” enough to truly compete with people online.. and the community is so toxic. But with squad battles it’s obnoxious at times. Like I typically will play between Professional to Legendary, depending upon on the rank of the team I’m playing. A 68 rated team in Legendary I can very easily dismantle. So I tried it against a 72 rated team, and it was the first time in years that I actually “lost” to a team in Squad Battles. The game truly made me 92 rated team just plain dumb. Players weren’t making runs, passes were going behind them, open players were staying behind jockeying defenders not able to get open, tackles were not registering, 14 blocked shots by the silver common keeper and and three by my 93 rated Cech (with five shots on goal), a 70 rated silver player with 45 pace was able to outrun my 91 rated Zaha with Engine (making him have 99 pace and 99 dribble), and so on…. It I was stunned.. I haven’t lost a squad battles match in about three years, and that was just as bad when I made the winning goal, with the ball crossing the posts hitting the back of the net.. and the ref blew the whistle for game, disallowing the goal after it already crossed the plane.. I guess it’s my love of the Soulslikes that make me coming back to this franchise as well… something about the torture the game puts you through..
Dude @6:05 THIS annoys the hell out of me. Why is this animation in the game. I’m not hitting the button for finesse shot. I wanna blast the ball in. But the players sometimes randomly decide to inappropriately try to curl it in and it gets saved every time. Just another instance of the game giveth and taketh for no reason
It has gone plain boring for me in career mode as well.. AI always plays the same similar way , cup games somehow end up in PENS ... I am so sick of PENS even though I win it but straight up boriing... And then there are the stupid assisted passes which never go to the player I intend it to go, and worst experience on a PC with keyboard
"Toxic community that only cares about winning and nothing else" This is a perfect summary of the problem with FIFA... When I play CSGO and lose, I can still walk away with laughs, cool clips, and fun chats. But on FIFA, since the uniqueness of play doesn't matter, only the META matters, the only thing that ends up mattering is winning. And when that happens it's so damn hard to have fun.
My life got much better when I just stoped playing fifa online. It's still irritating when I just wanna causal fun, open my save on a professional difficulty instead of my main career mode and the ai decides to turn on fucking god mode for no reason, but then I see these clips and it makes me think "hey, that's not that bad, I could be playing ultimate team against a random kid who bought their hole team, randomly gets favoured by the game, exploits bugs and decides to be toxic about that."

I've played against a toty cech and he was a fall that stopped any and everything. Game ended in a 1-1 draw from me scoring a pen. I think this game is RNG on rather a keeper will be good. I've had games where team of the week Onana was better than Casillas but have also had games where that same Onana couldn't stop a a 77 rated player from scoring an easy goal. At the same time when I look at FUTbin comments, its a toss up on rather a keeper is good or not. Some say trash, some say best in the game.

I low-key disagree. In fighting games, you have a lot more control over what happens to you/the opponent, same for a few shooters. Like you said, it's about how often.
I actually don't get mad about the bs happening because of the game because that won't change and there is nothing I or my opponent can do about it except not playing the game. I get slightly mad when I face an opponent that willingly plays the game to just sit back the whole time. I despise those players that only play for packs and waste their own time and mine.
EA needs to add a 1 hour game mode suspension for anybody who voluntarily leaves the game on a draw, and if they disconnect on a draw then the win needs to be given to the opponent. Also I'm convinced that EA is fabricating network errors to manipulate the results of my matches. I have video evidence of the network error symbols or whatever and insane input delay from this alleged lag, coming into effect everytime I am either winning or drawing a game, despite it saying I have 30 ping when loading into the game, saying I have 30 ping on my network evaluation on their website, and the speedtester application on my laptop saying I have 30 ping while the game is commencing and I have about 800ms of lag on my PS5. Additionally, whilst playing in the cup today I somehow defended against this absolute shit player for the whole 120 mins on insane ping keeping it to 0-0, was stepping up to take potentially the last pen in the shootout which would have won me the match if I scored it, before I was disconnected about halfway through the run-up without any significant drop in frames, or ridiculous (500+ms) delay. I genuinely feel like the DDA acting on my account is bugged such that it influences my connection now as well as the base mechanics of the game, essentially making online play impossible for me.
This is not glitch related but I scored 40+ I was top scorer in the premier league and I didn’t get a ballon dor and even more surprising was that somehow I didn’t get the prem player of the year.
I think some of the player stats override what actually appears to happen in the game visually. Its almost partly a sort of RPG where the shooters shoot stat is compared to the goalies relevant stats and if enough factors are on the shooters side, the goalie will appear to deliberately NOT save a goal (like bizarrely bending away from the ball) that was obvously an easy catch. I don't play online much and the only REALISTIC football game you'll play in FIFA/FC is the practice match mode. Ultimate Team is full gameplay modifications to keep you trying to win and buying packs. Like on Monday you play like a god and tuesday you get your ass handed to you and your team seems completely useless. The day before it was playing like Barca in their late 2000s heyday!!
Should have mentioned the lag that appears out of nowhere when 3-0 up and everything goes according to the opponents advantage afterwards. I ended up uninstalling the game cause of this.

I play career exclusively and I feel this so much. There are really moments in this game where you feel like some switch has just been flipped and you might as well stop trying, because no matter what the CPU/AI will score now. A subpar opponent you've been able to control pretty well for 70 minutes and suddenly they start short passing their way up the pitch like they have a squad full of Messis, after every succcessful tackle you pull off the ball just goes directly to another player of them, and even if you manage to block their shots a couple of times it somehow becomes impossible to clear the ball out of your own box and they score with the 6th shot in 10 seconds.
Also, what I hate about FC24 is the shitty balancing of lower tier clubs and players. If you start with a team with players with an 65-75 average and play against other teams of similar class you'll soon notice that the attackers with such ratings can be quite good actually, pulling off insane shots into the corner of the goal regularly. But defending with 65-70 rated players is IMPOSSIBLE. There is literally nothing you can do to properly defend, even while playing very disciplined. In the first 3 seasons of my current career I've conceded a ridiculous amount of goals, it's just that I scored even more. You wouldn't believe how many 6-4 wins etc. I had in this current career.
Playing with such teams feels very broken, it's as if EA never really intended to make them actually balanced and playable because 90% of players will simply go for City, Real, PSG or Bayern anyway and never play with teams that are not 80+ rated players across the board.

Whats funny is that, when starting with a low rated club like in the third devision, its the opposite. The AI is so easy, even on the hardest difficulty, because thes 60 rated players are so shit that you can even score with 50 rated players
It makes me rage because I’m literally fighting make my own commands work. I’m not playing a game I’m fighting against it. That’s just the start. 90% of the games I lose in champs I have better stats and XG than my opponent (I’m a rank 1 elite div player). I simply lost because the shooting mechanics are god awful or my defenders were on ice skates. It’s such a bad experience

old gamer here, old enough to remember when games were made by gamers, for gamers, as a way to share an art form. Here is my advice to the youngins, you have to understand WHY the developer developed the game and what their end goal is. For many indie games, its to share art, or a story, but FC24 was developed to get people to buy FUT cards. If you understand that then you will understand why the developers manipulate your dopamine and cortisol to get you to buy more. Its not about fair or compelling gameplay but "how do we get this player JUST angry enough to get them to buy new card packs" and "how do we trickle rewards to pique their dopamine" to want that hit again. I got FC24 about 2 months ago because it was the PSN free game of the month, it also came with a free card pack...any good drug dealer knows you give away the first hit of heroine for free.

Did you notice that when someone has a sick striker card, your keeper often dives well but just doesn't fully extend the arms? Like he keeps the elbow flexed and the hand close to his body, therefore letting the ball go through inches from his face. It's so annoying. Like they can't make the guy shoot any better, so the game starts nerfing your keeper

In older fifa even if you kicked the ball full power from even like 5 yards out like right next to the sideline you would most of the time still lose the ball, also, if a shot was blocked and the shooting player had momentum they would always fall over, which meant that they couldnt just shoot again.
I just recently became a viewer and saw your video of toxic fifa player types, so I want to mention a funny story about that here.
My opponent was leading 3-1 at half time, it was a friendly match for some objective, I knew I could beat the guy, so didn't want to give up, and he messaged me at half time, telling me how much I suck. Then I went on to equalize 10 minutes into the second half, and he dc'd at 3-3 so I don't get to turn the game around, and he started messaging me again, and told me I'm a sweat and so boring for not giving up and letting him progress his objective, since it was obvious I was gonna lose (khmm after I equalized). So basically he wanted me to quit because he had a two goal lead so he can progress with his objective when, and he was mad I tried and actually came back, because its faster if I just quit and move on (except I don't get anything from it, and give up a winnable game when the next might be even harder...) I only had 5 games in said friendly mode a day, and I knew for sure I could win, that's why I kept going. Plus the fact that he shittalked me at half time only to quit on a draw is maximum pettiness, and honestly a massive W for me. I wasn't even mad, I was just happy to destroy him so hard lol.

i rage because of three reasons:1. I play with a controller viewer(basically i can see the inputs of my controller on the screen) and i do that just so i can see after the game(if i have lost) why i lost and what i could have done better.WELL, 8/10 times it wasn't a wrong input just a pass that was supposed to go backwards go in front or my player shooting right even though i targetted left.2. Through ball going LITERALLY through the whole attacking line because it targets a LB that shouldn't even be here in the first place.3. Players just refusing to listen to my commands
In terms of random and bizarre moments this is by far the worst I've played to date. The games that have come before all had their moments but I've seen things I've never seen in other games previously - and that's before you mention the annoying little glitches. Fore example, I especially love those moments when your opponent's player gets knocked onto his ass while challenging for the ball yet somehow has the ability to still fully get up off the ground, run over and get to the ball quicker than you despite you having a head start and already running towards it.

in a fighting game, both players have equal access to all characters and their is no opportunity for random chance to effect the outcome. Fifa and especially Ultimate Team, you dont have access to the same teams and random chance can dictate a competitive game which can leave players feeling annoyed that the game ''let the opponent win.''
Random chance also dictate a persons team through packs, if you dont spend money on the game your team is influenced by the outcome of sbc's and packs. If you open and Icon pack and use all your fodder for Base Gary Lineker, It stings just that much more knowing that someone else got R9 or Zidane.
I don't have a wall of clips, but I do have a wall of screenshots from games where I deserved 4 goals and the opponent 1, besides having lots more shots on goal, more posession, better passing, more tackles, and more dribbles, but ended up losing 6-0 or 8-2. Certain games your keeper just can't catch a ball
Winning feels shit because mostly it is undeserved, goals are always the same. Players are outdated after one week. Servers are absolutely terrible and the times you have no control what happens on the field is insane
The ball fazing through the player has been there since fifa 13 when u tried to do the finesse shot the ball used to get cliped through the boots of the player and then he used to take the shot
The thing is with the ball phasing through players, there's not really much wrong with it. All that's happening is the engine calculates what it needs to, and then the animations are applied to give the best representation of what the engine is saying. A player will take a shot, the engine will determine that it goes in, the goalkeeper does a diving animation, and the ball is meant to go in so it'll phase through the hand etc.
I basically never rage at games anymore. I get a bit shouty in CS2 but that's about it. Within a single season of career mode I now have three massive holes in my desk.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most is when your in a tight 1-1 game where it can go either way and your opponent scores in the 92' and hits a griddy because he knows you cant respond. I will typically switch off when that happens. People feel the need to be toxic and maybe its just me but i cant understand it
Maybe I'm used to it because in south america football fans are just like that in real life too, mocking the rival is a part of the game. I don't care for that really, what drives me mad is the ways in which EA boosts star players by nerfing the opposite side. For example great striker cards definitely nerf the opponent's keeper. I've seen it too many times to believe otherwise

Funnily enough, I actually played a shit ton this year. My main game has been dead by daylight for years, and I've reached almost 5k hours recently and had a severe burnout, so I bought the new fifa, which I would usually only get a new one of every 2 or 3 years, because yearly its just not worth it. Now don't get me wrong, I still hate it, but its kinda refershing to play some games until I get really angry and its not refreshing anymore...But I actually have a decent playtime, my most played player, having around 900 games to him, and he wasn't even always in my squad, so I already played a good 1000 matches.
80% discount on Spring Sale and I still haven't got EAFC 24. Not missing any of these inconsistent online gameplay riddled with input lags even just for a little bit. If I can do it, so can you.

The super inflexible rewards model is a contradiction by EA, knowing they just deployed the most random sh*t ever. The cherry on the top is that meta players are so important that everybody has the pressure to do well.

the real point is that me playing this game caused me to rage overall, back in the day i never raged in a game, and even if i did it never got physical like hitting my desk just maybe 1 kurwa this way or another, but the more i played the more used i got used to raging even in other games

I recently played against a friend just couch coop style, and he fouled my fullback right next to my own box. The camera glitched a little, went over the whole pitch to the other side and suddenly my striker was preparing to take a penalty. 😅

This is why its wild to me people take this game serious enough to send messages after games. Like its such a random game of shit happening to where winning and losing doesn't matter, bc the person losing might only be losing bc the game is fucking up for them, but not for the person who won. People are winning from benefiting from bad gameplay and losing for bad gameplay, but then some people ignore this and feel the need to be toxic. FC 24 is a player vs player vs Game, its a triple threat match and you never know if the game is gonna hit you or the other player with the chair. It might hit your opponent 1st half, then you 2nd half so the game can be a 4-4 draw.
The worst part of this is now when I have a great win, I wonder if it's really me or if it just was the game RNG carrying me to the finish line.

Same for FC mobile. I can tackle a player and the ball will somehow bounce into their favour multiple times. I have had players use their weak foot to shoot when they are in a position to use their strong foot. I have passed to players then the game auto switches off the receiver making me concede goals I have experienced a whole lot. EA needs to get their shit together.

ive had the hardest games ive ever played on seasons vs people who are on losing streaks with terrible records. the game tries so hard to help bad players and hurt good players its truly a horrible game. ive never played any other game that tries so hard to manipulate the outcome like this: in any real game that is skill based (or sport,) the chance of an average player beating a great player is almost impossible, yet in fifa/ fc they get such big upgrades (for being bad) that those games can easily become competitve. its a joke

Just a week ago I thought my controller had a malfunction because in 4 different occasions, I pressed to make a through ball and it didn't register. Two of those were 90% assured 1-on-1 BTW. But it ONLY happened with through balls. So naturally I assumed my triangle button was on its way out. Turns out it wasn't. Next play session, it didn't happen once. Fucking game man
I don't mind losing, it's a game but when you have the ball bounce into a better position after tackling your opponents or your player deciding it wants to settle the ball instead of first time shooting. Of course I get mad. I've just switched to helladiver midgame when this happens. Can't be asked
I feel like there are 3 main reasons why im always frustrated in fifa (i play fifa 23 manager career and just a bit of other modes so i play against ai on world class)
1) obviously the glitches, its infuriating when you see the devs adding thousands of animations into the game and then you still see the ball phasing through players legs even when they are shooting the goal, the replay even shows it close up and slowed down for you to see. Like guys just add hard collision to the models i dont believe it will be less realistic than this.
2) the lack of control: The ai is shit and the worst part is you can not control it. The tactics and personal objectives you set for the players seldom lead to anything really, the sidebacks whom you tell to stay back will sprint across the field and then back again when the counterattack starts, midfielders often just stand by when defending looking at the opponents passing the ball near my box and i dont know what i can do about it. The lack of control is what kills me. Like its bad to lose in counter strike but you know the opponents most of the time just played better, aimed better etc, here i concede goals because my players just stand there and watch while i try to defend with one of them at a time.
3) the inconsistency: like you play barca in the CL quarter and you lose the first match, it was close, but they control the field, they score goals. Then the second match starts and barca is a bunch of middleschoolers in the yard who just watch as you pass the ball around them and score. Because of this it even feels like the game tampers with player stats and skills because yes i am an underdog againt barca, im playing kobenhavn, i expect them to be better in the first match, but what i dont expect is them somehow getting worse a week later.
The last thing is just a tip if you tamper with gamerules for singleplayer: I made the mistake of turning on penalties for playing with hands and oh my god even though it led to some funny moments and goals for me they didnt feel deserved and then i got penalised when the ball literally hit the shoulder of my defender in the box (like not the arm, the shoulder, you know, totally allowed body part to touch the ball with) and then conceded a penalty so dont make the mistake, dont turn it on.
The cheat mechanic for the AI in this game is horrible. I usually only play squad battles, just because I don’t have the time to “get gud” enough to truly compete with people online.. and the community is so toxic.
But with squad battles it’s obnoxious at times. Like I typically will play between Professional to Legendary, depending upon on the rank of the team I’m playing. A 68 rated team in Legendary I can very easily dismantle. So I tried it against a 72 rated team, and it was the first time in years that I actually “lost” to a team in Squad Battles. The game truly made me 92 rated team just plain dumb. Players weren’t making runs, passes were going behind them, open players were staying behind jockeying defenders not able to get open, tackles were not registering, 14 blocked shots by the silver common keeper and and three by my 93 rated Cech (with five shots on goal), a 70 rated silver player with 45 pace was able to outrun my 91 rated Zaha with Engine (making him have 99 pace and 99 dribble), and so on…. It I was stunned.. I haven’t lost a squad battles match in about three years, and that was just as bad when I made the winning goal, with the ball crossing the posts hitting the back of the net.. and the ref blew the whistle for game, disallowing the goal after it already crossed the plane..
I guess it’s my love of the Soulslikes that make me coming back to this franchise as well… something about the torture the game puts you through..

I am so sick of PENS even though I win it but straight up boriing... And then there are the stupid assisted passes which never go to the player I intend it to go, and worst experience on a PC with keyboard

When I play CSGO and lose, I can still walk away with laughs, cool clips, and fun chats. But on FIFA, since the uniqueness of play doesn't matter, only the META matters, the only thing that ends up mattering is winning. And when that happens it's so damn hard to have fun.

My life got much better when I just stoped playing fifa online. It's still irritating when I just wanna causal fun, open my save on a professional difficulty instead of my main career mode and the ai decides to turn on fucking god mode for no reason, but then I see these clips and it makes me think "hey, that's not that bad, I could be playing ultimate team against a random kid who bought their hole team, randomly gets favoured by the game, exploits bugs and decides to be toxic about that."

I've played against a toty cech and he was a fall that stopped any and everything. Game ended in a 1-1 draw from me scoring a pen. I think this game is RNG on rather a keeper will be good. I've had games where team of the week Onana was better than Casillas but have also had games where that same Onana couldn't stop a a 77 rated player from scoring an easy goal. At the same time when I look at FUTbin comments, its a toss up on rather a keeper is good or not. Some say trash, some say best in the game.

I low-key disagree. In fighting games, you have a lot more control over what happens to you/the opponent, same for a few shooters. Like you said, it's about how often.

I actually don't get mad about the bs happening because of the game because that won't change and there is nothing I or my opponent can do about it except not playing the game.
I get slightly mad when I face an opponent that willingly plays the game to just sit back the whole time. I despise those players that only play for packs and waste their own time and mine.
EA needs to add a 1 hour game mode suspension for anybody who voluntarily leaves the game on a draw, and if they disconnect on a draw then the win needs to be given to the opponent.
Also I'm convinced that EA is fabricating network errors to manipulate the results of my matches. I have video evidence of the network error symbols or whatever and insane input delay from this alleged lag, coming into effect everytime I am either winning or drawing a game, despite it saying I have 30 ping when loading into the game, saying I have 30 ping on my network evaluation on their website, and the speedtester application on my laptop saying I have 30 ping while the game is commencing and I have about 800ms of lag on my PS5. Additionally, whilst playing in the cup today I somehow defended against this absolute shit player for the whole 120 mins on insane ping keeping it to 0-0, was stepping up to take potentially the last pen in the shootout which would have won me the match if I scored it, before I was disconnected about halfway through the run-up without any significant drop in frames, or ridiculous (500+ms) delay. I genuinely feel like the DDA acting on my account is bugged such that it influences my connection now as well as the base mechanics of the game, essentially making online play impossible for me.
The problem is at the start of Fifa the gameplay is decent, but then they patch the game until the gameplay is a$$ 😅

This is not glitch related but I scored 40+ I was top scorer in the premier league and I didn’t get a ballon dor and even more surprising was that somehow I didn’t get the prem player of the year.
I think some of the player stats override what actually appears to happen in the game visually. Its almost partly a sort of RPG where the shooters shoot stat is compared to the goalies relevant stats and if enough factors are on the shooters side, the goalie will appear to deliberately NOT save a goal (like bizarrely bending away from the ball) that was obvously an easy catch.
I don't play online much and the only REALISTIC football game you'll play in FIFA/FC is the practice match mode. Ultimate Team is full gameplay modifications to keep you trying to win and buying packs. Like on Monday you play like a god and tuesday you get your ass handed to you and your team seems completely useless. The day before it was playing like Barca in their late 2000s heyday!!
Its diefrent servet.. when you got good server ,the playbis smooth.. but is change server, the play is heavy

Should have mentioned the lag that appears out of nowhere when 3-0 up and everything goes according to the opponents advantage afterwards. I ended up uninstalling the game cause of this.
