I honestly don't have a good answer for that. It "depends", the worst answer ever. So my daily commute is about 14 miles total. I can make it work on gear 3, but it feels a bit close at the end. The listed range is like 24 miles or so, which is definitely possible in gear 1 or 2, slow and easy on the throttle. When I commute, I'm averaging 25+ mph, accelerating and braking like electricity is free, and really enjoying the experience. If I took it to Gear T (turbo), I will have slightly over 7 miles of range when I get to work, but I will always charge at work because I won't make it home. My commute has a ton of hills, perhaps 2-300 feet of elevation changes when added all up. If I had just mountainboard trucks with wheels and removed one powered truck, I could get way better range, but I know the acceleration and surefootedness would suffer.
