I have to say my expectations of the sound a lightning storm on Saturn would make were pretty high. I am underwhelmed. If you were in the middle of a lightning storm on Saturn, is this what it would sound like? I understand these sounds are electromagnetic waves converted into sound waves. So what would it sound like if you were there?
Well, Lightning on Saturn is estimated to be about 10 times more powerful than any lightning strike that’s been recorded on earth. And I’m no scientist, but I think it’s safe to assume that you would go deaf.
I cannot think of anything more beautiful and frightening at the same time.

If each of those little static clicks represents a lightning strike, that would literally be 6-10 lightning bolts per second.
In case you didnt know, each small static spark is ONE single lightning strike on Saturn, thats how chaotic a thinderstorm on Saturn is.
