If the Guard, you Abdullah and Buska had to yell at those friggin French students and the teacher did NOTHING, he should be fired. That teacher did NOTHING to shush those kids so the guard could get his horse calmed down. The guard did everything he could, not to have the horse come out onto the footpath furthering what could have been a very dangerous situation. Much respect to team Guard, Abdullah and Buska.
I feel so sorry for the Trooper and horse. Hope they are both okay. It's difficult to do your job under such scrutiny and when you are working with animals it makes for unpredictable days. I felt so anxious watching him having to deal with the situation. As for those idiotic tourists contributing to the stress of the situation ......
This poor baby. You could see & feel his anxiety. This guard did an amazing job of staying calm. He is one of my favorites, well honestly they are all my favorites. Great job as always!
Yes, early in the video the metal chain strap had broken under his head and was dangling which was the initial trigger for the horse to spook, then the left rein became caught in the bridle as he shook his head, which would cause the bit to not sit properly in his mouth. The stableman untangled the rein but didn't fix the chain strap and then the rein tangled again as the stableman walked away. It seems they thought that with changeover only a few minutes away, they could safely leave the horse out..... he should have been taken back in and not kept in the box, becoming more stressed. The noisy crowd only aggravated the situation. I can't believe a supervising teacher didn't move the students away when it was clear just how unsettled was the horse.
The horse was trying to overcome the rein on the left being fouled where it connects to the bit. And I counted 16 turns, not 30! Stop exaggerating the Titles!
The part of the chain that goes under the horse’s chin looks like it has come undone. So it must attach to the bit, because the bit on that side is twisted upside down, which I think caused the rein to twist as well. It looks painful to me.
You’re right about the bit being twisted on the left side. If you stop the video you can see it’s wrong on the left side. I think that’s why he kept turning to that side. The ones who come out to check on the horse when the red button is pushed don’t do a thorough job of looking over the horse to see what’s causing issues and solve them.
@@zuzuspetals9281 Agreed - the stableman untangled the bit from the bridle but ignore the dangling chain under the horse's head which was the initial trigger to the horse's agitation. The rein then tangled again even as the stableman started leaving the box, to walk back to the yard.
The bridle belongs to another horse with a longer face. I thought they would be numbered. Can you see the bit almost in his nostril? How very irritating for the horse!
I'm not an equestrian but I could see there that the bit & bridle had something wrong with it on the left side, it looked twisted to me. check "5:11 ---- 8:56 "
There should be rubber ma's in the boxes. Safer footing for the horse and rider, easier on the horses legs, and quieter. Some horses seem to be so sound sensitive that the clatter of their own hooves can cause them to get motors excited
If they can’t put up barriers because of safety reasons with the horses maybe needing to spring into action maybe they should paint a yellow line all around the box and surrounding area with penalties for trying to step near the horse. You can still get a nice picture from a distance, or buy a nice postcard.
I don't know much about horse tack, but it looked like the left side of his bit was weird, I don't remember seeing one in that position before. Those noisy students made it so much worse, sadly. Hope the horse is okay, the Guard did a great job.
I've said it before , it's a public footpath /pavement in Whitehall controlled by Westminster council not MOD plus any form of barrier would be potentially dangerous for both horse and Trooper if the horse fan forward .
There was clearly an issue with the chain breaking free under the horse's head then with the left rein tangling in the bridle, making the bit move out of position in the horse's mouth. The horse was stressed by this, not a simple case "not wanting to work".

The negilent teacher allowing his students to make so much noise. 😡
It makes you wonder if that teacher lets his kids act like that also
This poor baby. You could see & feel his anxiety. This guard did an amazing job of staying calm. He is one of my favorites, well honestly they are all my favorites. Great job as always!
Bravo for this young Guard controlling his horse, awesome job!! 👍❤
PS: All fun and games until something goes wrong.... must get that photo even at risk of getting hurt so stupid
The rein looks flipped up on the one side. And, tourist need to have more respect.
That poor horse is being traumatized but all that loud noise
Why don’t they let him go back to his stall

At least one parent move a child quick, others making noise need to be told to shuf up.
Right so much stupidity anymore!!
¿ Cómo en pleno siglo 21 hay profesores tan ignorantes ?.Les dejamos en sus manos a nuestros hijos!!!.😮😮
They could see the horses acting up and the stupid people still want pictures of the horse really🤦♀️
Stupid people

I noticed the chain dangling too. I wonder if it came off when the stable trooper came and untwisted the rein the first time.

Poor horse probably wanted to open those back doors of the horse box itself so as to escape that infernal racket!!

Each horse has its own individual tack with its name on it

What is wrong with people trying to take pictures, etc., when the horse is agitated and could bolt or rear at any moment.
No common sense!!!

The bit on left side seems to be bothering him. Not a good day for him or the trooper

Great ideal, something needs to be done as it's getting out of control with these idiots!!

It’s obvious that some horses are jaded of this abusive “job”.👎🏻
No Abdullah, not 'terrible horse'. Just a pressured stressed animal. And not 'the worst thing ever'
by a long way.
The guard really showed who was the boss. Took a long time before the policemen came to send back all those tourists.
There is something wrong with the rein at the left side . That seems to be the reason.
Do you know which horse this is ?
I've said it before they should put barriers up to stop the tourist from harassing the poor horses
I fully agree with you!
I've said it before , it's a public footpath /pavement in Whitehall controlled by Westminster council not MOD plus any form of barrier would be potentially dangerous for both horse and Trooper if the horse fan forward .
Unfortunately, now the horse knows if he makes a fuss, he will go back to the stables with his hay and oats.

I feel for the horse.
We use to put earplugs in our horses ears when going to shows to cut down on the noise
Why didn’t they take the poor horse in?
see the horse arriving behind when the tape ends?
Agreed - the horse was clearly agitated but they appear to have decided it was close enough to changeover to leave him there..... not good enough.
So where are the police to move these people along, out of the area.

Viewers can count - it's nothing like 30 - more like 16!
Why aren't you saying anything. Obviously something is happening.
