I love your comment too about him being the king that kneels. There's a video I saw recently about a king eons ago that looks like Elvis and was a musician and a kind generous king that was loved. It's a statue of him and does resemble him. Crazy world lo!
I was 3 rows back from the stage in this concert. He was beautiful and kissed girls at the edge of the stage, I was unfortunately with my husband. Elvis was so great. Thanks Rory for all you do to Keep Elvis Alive.
Isnt that interesting, i used to sing this awesome song to my kids all the time. I love these Elvis Presley videos!! That man had one crazy life!! That was awesome thank you Rory and Carol!! 😊💓🤘✌️🔥
So, 69 years since he started recording and 45 years since his death, he is almost as popular as ever. I think in the late 50's and early 60's and again in the late 60's until his death he was the most popular person in the world. He is gaining new young fans now because of the movie and because of you wonderful people doing excellent reactions. Thank you! No thanks to the imitators who only hurt his legacy by looking and sounding like clowns. Really enjoyed this one. My grandkids took their naps to Elvis music, too.❤️❤️❤️
The only Inpersonator / Immitator Elvis Liked was Andy Kaufman!!!!!! Because it was Comical - Andy was a Genius at Impersonating Elvis in a very Respectful Way!!!! Watch Johnny Cash Show with Andy Kaufman and Cash talks about what Elvis said
You should do the 1970 Vegas and Aloha from Hawaii 73 versions of this song. This was his love note to his fans and he closed the show with this vamped up version .......he never did encores. Also the 68 Comeback Special version shows the transition from Sweet lullaby to this orchestrated, dramatic version. It's somewhere in between. He was like no other - he understood the power of his image (those stances at the end are iconic) but ì don't think that he could even imagine that he is still being watched and admired by so many people who were born after he left this world, including myself ❤
You should listen to the benefit concert Elvis did in Hawaii in 1961 for the USS Arizona, it's on RUclips and it's awesome!!! Great reaction! Thank you
I think the sweetest version of this song is the actual scene from "Blue Hawaii" where he sings it to his girlfriend's grandmother... ruclips.net/video/ipJtTQkYZZk/видео.html Beautiful song, beautiful scene. 💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙
Great reaction and as a fan for decades I think his continuing fame is a lot to do with the much maligned Colonel Tom Parker. By giving very few interviews and saying nothing contentious, not appearing on talk shows or TV generally bearing his soul, not touring apart from Canada, and having passed away young he remains the eternal mystery.
Yes, if you have not already done both Hawaii ruclips.net/video/GSaxhqJG1Mw/видео.html (1:43 min.) & Vegas ruclips.net/video/BMWn99zKjSg/видео.html (2:12 min. w-behind gold curtain) maybe do a side-by-side comparison; we know how every version he did was always different. Thx so much. Oh, i just remembered you like interviews & behind the scenes so here's a very nervous Elvis backstage opening night ruclips.net/video/o5o4G-giO2k/видео.html that someone worked on & enhanced.
That's how a Boss leaves the stage ...

You'll realize that Elvis doesn't perform the same song the same way every time....he was very versatile and fluid. Love all versions ✌🏼

Great reaction, but you should've let it play to see the fans reaction after he left the stage.
1954.
