@@ryandelgado7060 Man who sold the world was my first album ever , and I got it the day it was available, and you're telling me this Kurt Cobain Fellow covered it properly? Damn straight he did! Our David agreed apparently.
I think they've missed the point of this song with this cover Bowie (an Englishman who found himself at odds with the American audience for singing glam rock) used Dylanesque songwriting - which was part of his schtick anyway, to point out the problems with America and the existential ennui it found itself in after the war in the Vietnam. This is nothing but a well-performed song without actually knowing what the song is about or why it was written
There are a lot of Bowie covers out there and it’s incredibly rare for anyone to interpret his original songs with genuine feeling and then to add their own individual twist to make it unique and a standout song in its own right. This is one of those rare occasions. . .
These guys can do anything pretty much talent is undeniable, they don't even need our approval. They are young and in their prime. I'm waiting on a new album!
Heard this in radio 5 minutes ago and thought hey!, what a good interpretation! I can't remember a better one done of any Bowie's original. Thanks to Duran Jones (not David Jones...) & The Indications.
Heard this yesterday on CBC, as they mentioned these guys are playing in Toronto tonight. A really nice surprise, I didn't know they had put this out and love this Bowie song. Great band, looking forward to seeing them in the summer in the capital.
Howard Stern's Feb 2018 Tribute to David Bowie brought me here! This was one of my top three favorites of this very special collection. That vibe...that soul...that spin on the original....perfect and beautiful. I hope this is put on their next album!
I don’t know these guys at all but LOVE this version. I can’t help thinking that what I always thought of as a rock classic was really always a SOUL song looking to get out. It’s entire structure is soul. These guys get that for sure.
I just heard this song on CBC Radio in Canada for the first time earlier today and was pleasantly surprised by how good this cover song is to the original. I really like how it has kind of a 60's vibe and it is one of the best covers I have ever heard of this iconic song!
Badass cover of a blue eyed soul classic. Superb production and vibe. Bowie woulda dug the sh*t outta this version. Durand's voice is so rich and varied. The Indications rule!
Until now I felt some songs should never be covered as perfection had already been attained. Young Americans is and will always be Bowies but this version is so expletive good.
perhaps the best Bowie cover I have ever heard
M. Ward's version of Lets Dance is pretty amazing too... totally different vibe, but equally fine. Recommend you check it out.
This is the most respectable cover of a Bowie song.
You ever heard the man that sold the world by Nirvana?

This is the cover?
Thought bowie must have covered this sounds old

SUPERB IN EVERY WAY!
A vinyl pressing of this is desperately needed :).
Bravo - beautifully nuanced version, really shows what a great song this is.
Superb and obviously reverential cover. The Indications have real soul authenticity. Yeah Bowie was a craftsman alright
I let my dad listen to this group ...he was blown away. He said they got it ...long story short new fans keep up the good work. Minneapolis Minnesota
Bowie would be proud. This is beautiful.
A tear in my eyes

Magnifique, best Bowie cover ever !
Like how they slowed it down and put their own touch on it. Soooooo smooooooth
Like it slowed, like the horns, and each drum beat, it's great to be able to pick up the words at the end. Please put this on vinyl. 🙏
