    Great video man! The only thing I would have done differently is NOT put any clear coat protectant on the actual grinding surfaces. I can't help thinking that every time you grind some coffee, potentially you're grinding a little clear coat in with it now. I wouldn't be too worried about the grinding surfaces getting corroded by not adding the clear coat, because coffee beans have protective oils in them. Keep up the good work my friend, you're very talented and are focused on quality restorations. Keep the videos coming.

    I noticed that you often use the sand blaster on wood materials instead of "regular" sand paper or files. How's that? What's the differences between the two procedures? I assume that the sand blaster takes away less material than the paper, but since I never used one, I can only make guesses...

I am very impressed with the clear coat product and I will research for a comparable item in my area. Also, your wood restorations are superior and it might be nice to see vacuum pot resin stabilization be used on your projects. The wood will be much stronger and the surface can retain as much texture as you want for your finished design.

      Yes, it's a shame.
      And it's too shiny.
      Looks way too modern and souless.
      A somewhat mismatched colors one could say...

      @@Dino_Buk The real color was probably this

      No, it wasn't.
      I saw it on the google images.
      But it's ok, since this is all just for entertainment and having fun your way, and not for museum purposes.

    Congratulations. Another beautiful restoration. It's interesting because I went back to look at some of your older restorations, and your work just keeps getting better every time. Keep up the beautiful work. I always look forward to your next restoration.

    Well, if you removed all the casting marks and pittings this time, there'd be nothing left. :)

    Can someone tell me why bother to use paint remover first? Wouldn't the sandblasting take off the paint?

    • @Awrethien
      @Awrethien 5 лет назад +6

      Smaller blasters can take longer to remove the paint. If you have a smaller one you need to make a judgment call on do you want to brush stripper on, and walk away for a little bit, or stand there holding the part as the paint is eaten away. Also there is the normal where and tear on the items themselves to think about if they are running for a long time repeatedly.

      It takes too long to remove the paint with sandblaster.

    My favorite restoration channel! I will admit that I'm a little disappointed that you didnt hit full speed on that drill and sling lacquer everywhere, but there's always next time! 🤣 Great restoration as always! I enjoy your attention to detail and your ability to keep objects true to their origins!
