Great podcast, guys. Don is a good dood. I was actually with him on his first Afghanistan deployment. 8110 when he was 8112. I can attest to the calm that is the mentality of him and his team. It was my first deployment in general and I was support for his team. He's down for the shit when it's time to work but he can be goofy, as you just saw/listened to, and that's where he helped with me. Helps take your mind off where you are sometimes and he helped get your mind off some bad leaders that were there stressing over little things. Don, miss you, man. A Co, FOB Rob. 2012-2013. Some of the best experiences I've had in life have been with you and rest of Team 8112
That's what happened to me. I hit the rabbit too light and it was twitching bleeding out. Then the rest of the bunny groups looking at it suffering and they seemed like they were crying about 20 feet away.
@Everything well hindsight is 20/20, but who knows where he would be now in his life, if he did go and do all the Rambo stuff, instead of going the way he did.
I heard Ed Buagrin, Filipino American , is a legendary Delta Force. Tu Lam was Green Beret Vetern and support for Delta Force. Lol, when Bart found out these two Asian Americans, he would die out of excitement lol.
@@uchihamoon943 yes, Bugarin started if I'm not mistaken with the second OTC, just behind the first ever, along with SGM Vining. I could be wrong on the precedence. He was present during the bombing in Beirut, Lebanon. Also, hailed from the Special Forces.
Loved the genuine enthusiasm in this ep.! Now can you guys invite the friend who compulsively lied about being in the army just for fun to see the difference :P
Yes, this would be interesting, a totally different perspective on almost all fronts, since he was a refugee, and he went in much earlier, way before 9/11, plus the SMU stuff as well.
I trained with some raiders they were badass. I was part of a group pretending to be foreign military. they had to teach us different things to get them ready for their deployment.
that dude is like barts long lost twin lol also geos lip biting when this guy was talking made me so uncomfortable but lets just say her lips was dry and she has a habbit of doing it idk loool
kevin kim Good luck brother. Remember, whatever happens, DO NOT QUIT! Pain is temporary; pain is weakness leaving the body. Think about the NOW and not what lays ahead and you should be fine!
I’m new to this channel. One question: does the host always interrupt his guest like this? I was so intrigued with Don’s stories, and right when he was about to say something cool, he gets interrupted, with the host trying to finish his answers. Lowkey annoying. Other than that, great, informative interview.
"Tube stroker" on the Army side mortar men are "maggots." In my mortar platoon (mech infantry) half of us were Asian XD. On the Army SOF environment: I didn't see many Asians either. Only a few of us. Before Raiders we saw MARSOF in A-stan back in 2002-03.
Army get issued BCGs too. Anyways, all branches talk shit about each other. It's just funny as hell. But when the shit hits the fan, each of the branch have each others back. There were so many times when the Marines saved our asses and we saved theirs. But after each ops, we go back to talking shit to each other again. 🤣
To my understanding he was a reservist in the marine corps. He mentioned here that he was ANGLICO so basically support from naval vessels and close air support. I didn’t know this but I’ve heard him mention in the past that he worked supply so idk.
WOAH OMG OKAY HOLD UP HOOOLD THE FUCK UP. OKAY SO IM FROM THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE PHILIPPINES AND YES, THERE WAS A SEIGE HERE AGAINST ISIS AND I JUST KNEW NOW (IDEK WHY IM SO LATE IN BINGE WATCHING THIS) THAT DON WAS A PART OF THAT TOO!! MAAAN MAD PROPS AND RESPECT TO YOU AND THE TEAM FOR THAT DON!!!!
MadcapAlloy bro u still have to wait 3 or 4 years before trying out you don’t even know if your goin to like being in the marines more than 4 years , start by learning orders at command first because as a marine ur going to be doin alot if shit you don’t want to do
Bart's so passionate about this topic I love it
Once a Marine always a Marine

That's what happened to me. I hit the rabbit too light and it was twitching bleeding out. Then the rest of the bunny groups looking at it suffering and they seemed like they were crying about 20 feet away.

Don fits with you guys so well Def need more episodes of him on JKNews
If this is how Bart reacts to a MARSOC Asian, wait till Bart finds out that there are some Asians in Delta Force. He will literally die of excitement
I heard Ed Buagrin, Filipino American , is a legendary Delta Force. Tu Lam was Green Beret Vetern and support for Delta Force. Lol, when Bart found out these two Asian Americans, he would die out of excitement lol.

Diamond Dogs
Damn sitting in a small box for 18 hrs with a bucket lol idk if I can do that
That sucks, coz the bucket would take up a lot of space. A dipper would probably be better, gives you more leg room.😁
