I am Chinese American. I came to the US legally. It's tough to accept the fact that people who came illegally can get more benefits, help, healthcare, etc. so easily and we have to work extra hard to survive. It took me over 4 years to get my green card, which cost thousands of dollars. I work hard, pay taxes, and obey the law. Then there they came... I understand the frustration and anger British people must have felt. However, if you generalize illegal immigration to all immigrants, that would be a problem.

Black. British. Born in London in the late 80’s. 100% agree with these guys. My parents fled communism in Ethiopia. Came to Britain and integrated. Worked hard. Paid their taxes. As Ethiopian Orthodox Christians they were able to integrate well. Some cultures and ideologies are totally in opposition to others and therefore immigration needs to be limited and carefully managed. Mass immigration and the new post modern liberal woke is killing the west. I actually moved to Africa 3 years ago with my young family because despite being British I do believe that cultures and nations should work on improving their own countries. I am an Egyptian Muslim. I opened up this video expecting to see a bunch or racists but I was quite shocked. When it comes to the issue of illegal immigration I am in full support of their right to go against that. There is no problem with immigration as long as you do it through legal means and become a functioning member of society. As for my beliefs they are my beliefs. Why would I ever force them on anyone else? I would only talk about it if someone is genuinely interested. I am sure some people here are actual racists. I am Bulgarian, so mine is a neutral perspective. I lived in UK for a year in 2005 during an internship. I have to say I was made to feel very welcome and treated fairly. Since then things have changed drastically. I was just recently in London for a weekend and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You can hear Islamic chants on Oxford St, booming from the speakers of two preachers there to preach Islam and assert their presence, about 20% of the people on Oxford St were Arabic. Just a few metres down the street, towards Hyde Park, there were huge decoration lights reading "Happy Ramadan" with the crescent moons and everything. When you go up from the corner of Hyde Park on Edgware Rd, the demographic majority changes immediately, now it's 90% Arabic and all signs on shops and restaurants are in Arabic. All of them. I was shocked. I've got nothing against Muslims, some of the best people I know are Muslim, my issue is with them trying to impose and force their culture on their hosts in any country they immigrate to. This is not integration. Integration is assimilating into and respecting the local culture. This is an attempt for replacement and some of them are quite vocal about it and it's happening all over Europe. Edit: I don't know man, I read all the comments and I understand the sentiments of both sides. I mean what's happening in Gaza now is atrocious to put it mildly and I understand the frustration and anger. It just seems that there will never be common ground between those who endorse multiculturalism, globalism and the ones trying to preserve their culture and values. In the end everyone will fend for their tribe and this is becoming more obvious every sigle day. Even the US continues to have racial tensions and it's a state built on multiculturalism. It's a strange time we live in and it all unravels before our eyes. What will the outcome be? Nobody knows. I legally moved to England 10 years ago, have lived in London the whole time and due to my jobs I go all around the city to every single part of it and honestly I get it. I moved to the UK from Russia in 2015 through an intra-company transfer. Over the years, I’ve worked diligently, paid 35% income tax, and followed every rule and law. My company made significant financial contributions for my visa, and I’ve also paid substantial fees to extend it. Nothing was handed to me; I’ve earned my right to live and work here through hard work. I fully support the British people on this matter. It’s frustrating to see that while some immigrants work tirelessly to contribute to society and integrate into the culture, others are granted rights and privileges without the same level of effort, often disregarding the laws, rules, and most importantly, the culture and traditions of the country that has welcomed them.

I also attended Saturday and had a great time meeting all sorts of characters from many different backgrounds. It's a sad state of affairs that celebrating your country and being concerned with It's security gets you labeled as a racist, but with days like Saturday I believe that's now starting to change.

As an American, I appreciate this on-the-ground reporting, and the care taken to be neutral. What you’ve presented is similar to my experience here in the US. The main crowd is a mix of articulate, reasonable people and inarticulate regurgitators of slogans; but they share a general awareness and sentiment that something is wrong, and it’s the elite who foist their ideology on the public. And overall, the crowd exhibits a basic decency in interacting with a stranger. Meanwhile, the (liberal, woke, I don’t know what you’d call them in the UK) counter-protestors almost unanimously replace even a minimum of respectful conversation with a barrage of combative, ivory tower slogans and a manifest contempt for anything that fails to immediately salute their dogma. It’s really sad, these latter folks are being turned into bitter husks by a poisonous ideology. I’m not sure what can help besides the grace of God; a patient, loving presence in their lives; and slim chance of glimpsing the absurdities of their agenda. Anyways, thanks for posting this-I hope things turn around for the UK and you can have a well-ordered, British society that respects anyone who respects it.

I am Slovakian. I lived in the UK for 9 years, and I never once witnessed racism against me by British people. They have been only kind and friendly towards me. I live in Indonesia, its so difficult for someone from here to get a visa to enter the country just for a holiday. They have no criminal record, full degree, qualified and enployed in the country. But yet if you come over illegally, with no qualifications, a crinimal record and unemployed, you get given a hotel and hot meals. The system is completely broken!

I'm also Indonesian and was interviewed by UK company back in 2019 for data science work. The visa was really hard to solve despite my qualifications and clean criminal record. But I see people coming into UK with zero qualification got accepted into the country, provided social security, etc. it's crazy. Western legislations have a real problem with immigration. People with real skills, experiences and investments are being barred to enter but illegal immigrants are pouring like crazy. I hope the best for the British people and their struggle 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

My family immigrated from Pakistan to Sheffield in the early 1960s in the legal manner. They integrated very well into the UK and worked hard to be able to afford a decent life which they never had in Pakistan. Although they were Muslim, they were open minded and had many friends and colleagues who were white and not just Pakistanis My mother even said to me that the UK was better around the 1980s and 1990s when there were decent people coming in to the UK for the sake of having a better life and not coming here to cause trouble and make problems for many Brits, which is the case for the illegal immigrants coming in today. Being able to restrict immigration is not even remotely a racist thing at all. From an economic standpoint, it would help nearly all people in the UK as the health services, housing etc are not strained from rising populations and furthermore, there would not be as much crime due to almost no foreigners with zero background checks for criminal records being mindlessly let in the UK and causing harm for people wanting to live good lives.

I am Chinese American. I came to the US legally. It's tough to accept the fact that people who came illegally can get more benefits, help, healthcare, etc. so easily and we have to work extra hard to survive. It took me over 4 years to get my green card, which cost thousands of dollars. I work hard, pay taxes, and obey the law. Then there they came... I understand the frustration and anger British people must have felt. However, if you generalize illegal immigration to all immigrants, that would be a problem.

I am an Egyptian Muslim. I opened up this video expecting to see a bunch or racists but I was quite shocked. When it comes to the issue of illegal immigration I am in full support of their right to go against that.
There is no problem with immigration as long as you do it through legal means and become a functioning member of society. As for my beliefs they are my beliefs. Why would I ever force them on anyone else? I would only talk about it if someone is genuinely interested.

I am Bulgarian, so mine is a neutral perspective. I lived in UK for a year in 2005 during an internship. I have to say I was made to feel very welcome and treated fairly. Since then things have changed drastically. I was just recently in London for a weekend and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You can hear Islamic chants on Oxford St, booming from the speakers of two preachers there to preach Islam and assert their presence, about 20% of the people on Oxford St were Arabic. Just a few metres down the street, towards Hyde Park, there were huge decoration lights reading "Happy Ramadan" with the crescent moons and everything. When you go up from the corner of Hyde Park on Edgware Rd, the demographic majority changes immediately, now it's 90% Arabic and all signs on shops and restaurants are in Arabic. All of them. I was shocked.
I've got nothing against Muslims, some of the best people I know are Muslim, my issue is with them trying to impose and force their culture on their hosts in any country they immigrate to. This is not integration. Integration is assimilating into and respecting the local culture. This is an attempt for replacement and some of them are quite vocal about it and it's happening all over Europe.
Edit: I don't know man, I read all the comments and I understand the sentiments of both sides. I mean what's happening in Gaza now is atrocious to put it mildly and I understand the frustration and anger. It just seems that there will never be common ground between those who endorse multiculturalism, globalism and the ones trying to preserve their culture and values. Even myself as a Muslim with a dad who was an asylum seeker it's hard to deny the crime statistics and reject their anger as I have grown up around it. But the main correlation of people who go down bad paths I have seen are people whose parents shouldn't be parents. One boy I know had two drug addicted parents who abused each other and broke his arms once while trying to pull him to claim him for custody, he was white, and went onto leave school and deal drugs.

What you’ve presented is similar to my experience here in the US. The main crowd is a mix of articulate, reasonable people and inarticulate regurgitators of slogans; but they share a general awareness and sentiment that something is wrong, and it’s the elite who foist their ideology on the public. And overall, the crowd exhibits a basic decency in interacting with a stranger.
Meanwhile, the (liberal, woke, I don’t know what you’d call them in the UK) counter-protestors almost unanimously replace even a minimum of respectful conversation with a barrage of combative, ivory tower slogans and a manifest contempt for anything that fails to immediately salute their dogma.
It’s really sad, these latter folks are being turned into bitter husks by a poisonous ideology. I’m not sure what can help besides the grace of God; a patient, loving presence in their lives; and slim chance of glimpsing the absurdities of their agenda.

I'm also Indonesian and was interviewed by UK company back in 2019 for data science work. The visa was really hard to solve despite my qualifications and clean criminal record. But I see people coming into UK with zero qualification got accepted into the country, provided social security, etc. it's crazy. Western legislations have a real problem with immigration. People with real skills, experiences and investments are being barred to enter but illegal immigrants are pouring like crazy. I hope the best for the British people and their struggle 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

My family immigrated from Pakistan to Sheffield in the early 1960s in the legal manner. They integrated very well into the UK and worked hard to be able to afford a decent life which they never had in Pakistan. Although they were Muslim, they were open minded and had many friends and colleagues who were white and not just Pakistanis
My mother even said to me that the UK was better around the 1980s and 1990s when there were decent people coming in to the UK for the sake of having a better life and not coming here to cause trouble and make problems for many Brits, which is the case for the illegal immigrants coming in today.
Being able to restrict immigration is not even remotely a racist thing at all. From an economic standpoint, it would help nearly all people in the UK as the health services, housing etc are not strained from rising populations and furthermore, there would not be as much crime due to almost no foreigners with zero background checks for criminal records being mindlessly let in the UK and causing harm for people wanting to live good lives.

We've lost London, it's done, it's gone...now it's spreading out from London to surrounding areas like a plague. You cannot blame the refugees for fleeing to safety when America bombed their homes and made them uninhabitable in the first place. Most refugees did not want to leave but they had no choice. Have some empathy.
