Quincy met Alice and it was the best thing he has ever done. Unfortunately, the love he felt for her had an inverse relationship with the confidence he possessed to vocalize it. He knew this needed to change, and he knew just what to do. The town witch lived just up the street just beyond the tall pines and through a wall of spooky mist- a scenic treat for Quincy. The witch greeted him expectedly at the gates and he immediately professed his sentiments as if her haunting gaze wasn't all up on him. She simply waited for his verbal tank to empty, nodded, and disappeared. He felt invigorated. He ran at top speed to share the experience with Alice. As he approached, her expression displayed an indecipherable amalgam of feelings. He couldn't wait to ask why- all he could exert was an I love you. The phrase kept spilling out, one after another, until he realized Alice was no longer listening. He suddenly found himself alone. Confused, Quincy found the nearest mirror and instantly understood. He had become a cardboard monster. Only capable of saying I love you. He got his wish. Enjoy.
