The Eddie vs Rey match for custody of Dom was at SS '05
Shawn vs Eddie was penciled in as a Mania 22 match but unfortunately Eddie passed so we never got it.
Eddie VS Shawn was gonna happen at WrestleMania 22 but he passed away :(
Honestly il never get over that, that match would have been spectacular! Shawn was on his Mr Wrestlemania run Eddie was at his peak during his final years. Just instant classic written all over it

This was a great quiz with an excellent layout. The wrong answers were well designed. One on one matches when it was a triple threat or fatal 4 way. Throwing in a triple threat at the right moment. Then all triple threat matches with a tweak. Questions with one from each era and questions with all from the same era. Simple beautiful.
15:43 yep, that was the match that Cody got his nose broken by Rey's Knee Brace and he later debuted the Grotesque/Undashing gimmick
It happened before Mania. Don’t remember when, but that’s what led to their Mania match. You can see in the picture there that Cody is wearing the face mask.
I knew Cody vs Rey because I saw an interview with Cody where he talked about how Rey basically kicked down Vince’s office door to demand the match at Mania.

That way, the only downside of Mania would have been that dreadful Sumo Match.
Lita was injured at the time. She broke her neck during a botched suicide dive a few months earlier at the New Year's Revolution ppv.
Randy Orton vs Mick Foley, No Holds Barred at Backlash 2004 for the Intercontinental Championship is one of my favorite matches of all time. It's when Randy proved to me and honestly most of us that he had what it took to be world champion. More universally known as the match in which Randy took that awful bump in the thumb tacks. Eeeouch!!
Taker vs Yokozuna was rumble and survivor series
All of mankind will witness the rebirth of the undertaker!! He would return Summerslam 1994 in purple and one of his greatest returns ever. Yokozuna was a great rival for Taker

Not only that. It was shocking that they were thinking that Rude vs Perfect was being considered when it was very rare during the golden age era of heels facing each othe in non-title bouts.
I’m not asking they know every show during the era but it is easy to remember the main belt feuds and the shows.

I could've sworn Big Show vs. Kane for the Hardcore title happened at X7, and it kind of did. Only problem is I always forget that Raven was involved and it was a triple threat lmao.
That Kane/Khali match had the throw back to WM3 with Hogan slamming Andre, in that Kane slammed Khali.
Man, next time there should be a bonus point for naming the Mania number as well! Dante was crushing that one!
The creator of the quiz actually commented that he did put that as part of bonus points. Maybe they didn’t see it or maybe they talked beforehand about it and realized it would be too one sided lol.

I got sweep cityyyyyyyy. A lot of the fake answers were either in multi man matches together not singles or a person changed of multi man matches or happened at the PPV after mania
Kevin and Seth was at Mania 36, Bobby and Roman as well as Nakamura and Dolph happened at BackLash, Bobby and Roman was in 2018, Nakamura and Dolph was in 2017, Braun and Miz idk when that happened.
Can't believe I missed Seth/KO too and instead picked Braun/Miz. It's my only miss so I'm still not worthy of sweep city merch. Sorry Stache Club but my money stays with me this day.

I can't believe that the only one I didn't get was Roman vs Drew, everything else I got, but Roman and Drew threw me for a loop and I couldn't imagine it happening. I was thinking later into Drews run after he'd won a title, not while he was still hanging around Dolph Ziggler in that odd team that happened just to fight the shield

Not sure if it was intentional, but on question 2, the other three answers have all faced each other at WM, but not in a 1v1. Rock/HHH were part of the 4-way at WM2000 with Mick Foley and big Show, Hardys and Dudleys were a part ladder matches at WM2000 and X7 with Edge and Christian, and Seth/Finn were part of a triple threat with the Miz at WM34 for the IC title.

Hey John, you know those obvious ones you mentioned, you had one and both you and Dante struggled with it. Everyone except you two knew immediately that the answer for the one that included Hogan vs Savage was HOGAN VS SAVAGE.
Piper/Goldust was a "Hollywood Backlot Brawl", which is technically the same as a street fight. Just to be technical.

That Eddie vs Rey match at mania 21 is hilarious because it's not only two faces against each other, not only two best friends against each other but also both of the wwe tag team champs going against each other. Plus the lie cheat and steal gimmick was in full force so both rey and eddie kept trying to cheat to win behind the refs back. Real fun but yes quite short match.
Also the ladder match over Dirty Doms custody contract that John mentioned was at Summerslam, not a Mania match.
The Eddie vs Shawn match makes me sad because that would’ve been the wrestlemania match they had if Eddie didn’t pass away

I think Owen's jumped off the ship at 37 cause I remember he was bummed out that Covid made it so he couldn't at 36 after having scouted all the angles of the ship but they had to have 36 at the performance center. Only reason I remember Owens vs Rollins is because of how much KO really wanted to jump off the ship and couldn't due to venue change.
Fun fact about Bayley: She will have a one-on-one match at WrestleMania LV for the first time in her career

Ziggler had only one Singles Match at Mania, Covid Mania where Owens Rollins took place, Ziggler Otis.
The triple threat at X8 Victoria wasn’t in that match it was Lita. So who ever made that quiz made a mistake.
It was Jazz VS Lita VS Trish Stratus.
It sucks that Lita's only Mania match was a 7 minute Triple Threat where the fans cussed her out

But the longest ever Wager Option Round, 56 names, because every option is 14 names, but only one Option is the right one of the Divas Title Match. They would write it all down the 56 names. 😂
