Let's be honest, it's no fun when you've got to stick to the inside line just so that the AI don't back out massively! A game where the AI have similar characterics to the player and a game where you can really push the car to the limit is when career mode will become really enjoyable. Still nice work with the editing though mate
AETERNO UK I agree. I think Codemasters should invite the best f1 game drivers (Tiametmarduk, Alex Gillon, etc.) to help do some 'test runs' (for the hardest difficulty for the AI) And they'll just copy their driving characteristics into the AI

Imagine this: AI with real life personality. So that Raikkonen stays on the outside, Button makes the tyres last in an eventless race where he doesn't really battle anybody and Pastor Maldonado ... Chrashes?

Am I wrong when I say that ben doesn't enjoy making these career mode videos as much as he use to? Like in f1 2013 there were lot of uploads and good racing and now it's little bit boring. Not bens fault, it's codemasters.

Tiametmarduk Yeah, they got the 2014 game out of the way fast and focused on the 2015 game on the next gen. BUT no overtake button and not the same control of the brake bias like in real F1 cars and completely removed control of ERS and worst IA ever, not the same as 2013, a step down! 2013 had KERS and better AI AND the classic cars. But really can't complain i can just play 2013 then right? ...Nope after an GP weekend you really want to use the Hybrid cars am right? Basically i am just saying if the 2015 game isn't amazing we are screwed. Also you gonna buy Project Cars?

The way the sounds work in this (V6T) engines.. you dont get feeling that the car is so fast as it really is.. even in this game it doesn't feel like you are driving +300KMH.. :( ill play F1 2012 alot.. and it has that FAST feeling. still very well drived. nice win & champ!!

Next season go to Manor/Marussia, drive for them, develope the car and win the championship with them as fast as you can. Stay with them till you win championship.

Hope that front wing damage from hitting the bollard can actually be a damage setting for f1 2015 and not just accessible through a mod. Nice win & championship tho Ben :)
Hey Ben,i have an idea for next career mode.You should definitly try fully realistic career,that means you have to use cockpit cam or even helmet cam mode,also no OSD or driving assists and legend difficulty,i think that will definitly give you some tough challenge.Please let me know what do you think :D

If you wanna drive for a top team and be challenged, then F1 2015 Pro Season mode is irreplaceable.
You should replace Rai in F1 2015 ! :D and team up with Vettel to challenge the Mercedes
I think for whichever one you do next, 2014 again or wait for 2015, you should go with Williams. It could be a bit of a challenge plus that Martini livery is beautiful...
Drive for Williams or take that Mercedes contract and have a teammate rivalry season !!
I know what you mean with the AI, if you race against them it actually feels like your letting them through on straights and you are not really trying your best to defend because you want to have a battle. But anyway, what a nice championship it was again :)
I started playing F1 2010 back again and ohh man that game is so much better than the recent F1 games, the AI are much more competetif and have an overall faster pace, they've got the basics right but never improved on that , I hope F1 2015 will be good otherwise codies are done in my opinion :)

Granted this game was the sacrificial lamb for F1 2015, it's still ridiculous that you can win back to back titles in inferior cars. The other teams have to update alongside you for it to be decently realistic

For the next season, Go with Ferrari, so you and Vettel against mercedes! But no mod for the same perfomances for all the cars or anything! Just use the stats that are already there, use realistic damage mods though! Good luck!!
Start your career mode again but start in a a caterham then start jumping up teams and see if you can win a spot on a top team

In f1 2015 or possibly 2016 if they can't do it in the next f1 game when u do the drivers test at the start, the game should match the AI to your driving style and speed. What do u guys think and would that be possible?
Do a career mode with Lotus and try to win the drivers championship with the 2015 mod and releastic damage mod.
I remember losing part of my front wing and that turn 2 was awful, I couldn't take it flat out and spun it

Ben, it's 2 months until F1 2015 releases. It's just an idea, but maybe you can do a short career mode on F1 2010 or 2011 in the meantime? It's something 'new' (although Aeterno UK also did those) and the AI are a lot better ;)
