Nvidia has been a God send for me. I’ve been through two splits, one years ago was 4:1, and just a few days ago 10:1. $67k invested, now have 3,500 shares and as of today’s value $437k. I’ll just keep watching as I’ve done for years. Great video

This is the correct response. I invested in 2016, up 2,000% and now hold over 4,000 shares. I've sold some along the way, have recovered my initial investment. However, the position represents over 70% of my account, too much? Rebalance? I did take $100,000 out to rebalance a bit but will keep the remainder, an outsized position, for the coming years of returns from the company.

It is a great stock and I own it, but when Nvidia is not like any orher investment, be careful. It is a semi-conductor stock, which means it is cyclical. Growth is obviously, there, but one quarter where they miss or slow down growth expectations, and the stock will take a hit. Ride the wave until until then. There other companies to invest in that have value.

Nvidia is a clear let it rip & split. Let them compound your gains for you and lower your ACB the next time it runs up high enough for a split, this won’t be the last. Crazy to trade away a company that has a moat and dominant position in whatever the next few decades of technology holds. If it becomes a big position just build up some others.

There will be a time to sell Nvidia, but it is not today, nor in 2024. However, don;t be late.. It all depends on how much you earned, and what will be the alternative investment. If Nvidia fails, it would be a real catastrophe for the market. We are talking about a company who will soon become the number one in market capitalization on earth by surpassing Microsoft. For now, it is ok to even invest more and wath closely.

Hang on Tiger! 2 totally different circumstances….Tesla is LOSING money or it would still be climbing. Revenue dropped off big time and sales dropped. NVDAs numbers are INCREASING going forward and they are already predicting massive growth on key areas and booked sales. As they increase revenue, forward PE does DOWN. You sell on the first missed quarter and not a day before. My guess this hits 200.00 by years end and runs through 2026 before you hit a down quarter. It’s all about forecast these days and there’s a solid 18 months left.

I don't think so. Even if it goes down to 100 or 90 it will go again up really higher. Now if u invest like 10k or more, maybe u should wait to go down, but what if it doesn't? How much u wait? Nvidia is a buy now not wait

Unfortunately I missed the bus. Was almost ready to get in this new year @ 490, pulled out last minute. Should have done more research! Nevertheless I entered the game this month beginning @ 1030, already sitting on 16% profit. Got a late entry to the bus, I believe it’s never late in investment isn’t it?

Why is Google saying that Nvidia’s PE ratio is 46.51?

  • @rickcr1205

The fundamentals look ok "now" because the demand is there based of the AI buzz word. I say it's a buzz word since many companies are saying "Hey we have to get into the AI space so we can advertise we're using AI" and that comes down to typically making some chat-bot or something quite silly, but let's you say "you're using AI." Granted the power AI brings to certain industries is tremendous when leveraged, but right now I see people just scrambling to say "they're using AI" so they can look like they're on top of things. The demand I believe will die down and thus the prices of NVDA. Of course, no idea 'when' and I'm typically always wrong anyway:)

When I search, NVDA's current PE ratio is around 73... I'm confused as yours is showing around 33? Thanks for the NVDA updates, you are much appreciated!

I think that people have no idea whatsoever how to manage money. No matter where they are living. You should only sell if you have bad debt. Also if you are retired and you need to live your life.

Good example with tires. Other example: cost of a box of 10 N95 masks on Amazon before pandemic started --- $15. Cost of same box of 10 N95 masks on Amazon 4 months into pandemic --- $180. Cost of same box of 10 N95 masks on Amazon 12 months into pandemic --- $16. Reason: sudden supply/demand imbalance.
