Haha I ask the same, but I realize I relate to him in that way. I have social anxiety, so going to stores is kind of a burden, but when I'm in Disneyland I get this feeling of being too happy and free and I don't care as much what people think of me lol. Guess it really is the Happiest Place On Earth for me! 😄

My wife and I just noticed that the water goes over a road when we were taking the boat over to Wildnerness Lodge. You were totally filming this the same day we were there as I can see my wife and I waitng for the Festival of Fantasy parade on Main Street @6:59! How the heck did I not see you! Ding Dang!
That shoe tree...what the heck? Disney World, you're so weird! Though I don't find the islanders thing very weird. A lot of cast member roles have secondary names like "servants" for Mansion or "miners" for Thunder.
I had no idea about the shoe tree or the Islanders. Very cool! I can't say I am a fan of the hairbands on Everest. It kinda ruins all the work the imagineers put into the illusion.

The wave machine did exist, but was removed. Tales of it still being under the water are nothing more than urban legend. (Same goes with the bulldozer).
Tara and Drew Winner I was going to comment on the same thing, they also clear out some trees, brush etc for the Fireworks display during Christmas and New Years and they fire some fireworks off from the island.
I loved Discovery Island, it was a really relaxing place to go where there were no crowds. I also loved River Country as it was less busy than the other parks and there were no waves to knock me over. I was really sorry to see them go

The Pinocchio balcony is my secret spot. My son is autistic, and when the crowds are getting to him, we go up there for a snack to get away from it all. Awesome view, nearly private, can't beat it.
There's another water bridge between EPCOT and the Yacht Club/Beach Club Resorts. The pedestrian walkway even goes over the traffic with the waterway. You don't even know you're on it! Weeeeeeeiiiird. Love the videos.

Always heard about the shoe tree but never actually saw it. Never understood why there are so many hair ties on the top of Everest but the Yeti demands it?? It all makes sense! Love the water bridge! Thanks for sharing!
Idk if it's just me, but I've seen hair ties thrown all over the place on rides like Everest in other theme parks, not just Disney. I don't personally think it's just a Expedition Everest thing. This was still a great video though! Best wishes Justin!
For the star trek symbol in the store, that was built before the store became a star wars merchandise hot spot. It is actually the exit for Stitch's Great Escape, worst ride in the entirety of WDW, and it used to be filled with Stitch merchandise, so I just think that design is a really funny coincidence.

I think the hair ties resemble the rainbow valley on Everest. It's where a lot of hiker bodies are frozen and stay there with the coats forever. Or someone tried to hit their friend and missed.

Ally you are a trooper! I about fell out of my chair with the Captain Justin pirate! Almost as good as The Scottish Justin.
We have one of those waterways over a road way in New York State. It is part of the St Lawrence Seaway. It is the access to a state park that is on the other side of the Locks. Look up Massena , NY. It actually allows ocean going vessels to travel through the locks.

not the only place, I am a former cast member and they would relocate me alot because I was in the college program. The employees at typhoon lagoon are known as crew members instead of cast members
I remember going to River Country as a kid and of course Walt Disney world as well and it saddens me to see the explorers with their vlogs of the now abandoned waterpark. I mean at the same time it's very interesting, but sad it's no more. I would have taken MY children there. Thanks for putting it in your vlogs buddy. :)
You should ride one of the small Walt Disney transportation boats from the wilderness lodge to fort wilderness they tell you all about the tree and the abandoned parks.

Oh another weird things in the Expedition Everest queue - there is a photo of a man holding a yeti print, a newspaper clipping from Nepal and a print. This is a legitimate explorer named josh gates who found what is reported to be a yeti print. I think that definitely falls into the realm of WEIIIIIRD, no?

Yeah I was just staying in the Caribbean resort and the little pool place they have near at the top of the stairway on the roof there were also a bunch of hair bands so I don't know know started this either but it is bazaar.

You don't. The way it works is as you're stopped, the track behind you switches and latches to a new track.
