Such a shame about numbers, been with you for so long. Hopefully he can catch up after he is mended. Bridge of the Gods, can't wait!!! On the Home strait. I'm am so pleased for you that your hike is nearly up but gutted that it is ending from my point of view. I can't wait for these videos to drop and they have been the highlight of my week. I remember you and U-Turn said early on that you will continue to explore the trails and I for one will continue to follow you. Good luck on the final push. Chris Stafford England UK 🇬🇧
Wow! Can’t believe your journey is reaching its end but you are coming to WA at the best time of year. Hopefully you will get lots of clear skies to enjoy the snow capped summits of mt Adams, St. Helens, rainier snd baker
Happy to see you have arrived in Cascade Locks safe. Continuing to enjoy your videos and Uturnes smile. I hope you enjoy the trail through Washington. We have some beauty here I think you find to your liking. The North Casecades are especially nice. More so from Rainy Pass north. With the border closed I hope you can figure a way to still hike to it and kiss monument 78 then return to Rainy Pass or Harts Pass to leave the trail. Enjoy and be safe. Have a glorious hike.
Not quite that easy, unfortunately. Still have to apply for a Canada Entry Permit, the conditions for which are onerous, and the Canadian government suggests it will take 2-4 weeks to issue. We reached the border Aug. 7, then hiked out to Ross Lake via the Pacific Northwest Trail to Ross Lake (about 36 miles total), where we took a water taxi and hiked the final mile :( to Highway 20. Also, Harts Pass has *not* been closed all summer, so in theory (traffic is down) one can hitch (or walk) from there, rather than going all the way back to Rainy Pass. Just fyi for hikers.
Haha! "Welcome to backpacking!" You slept in a real bed for 4 nights, and discovered the ground, thin mat, etc. to be tough. That's what I feel everytime I go out (maybe 2x per summer). The challenging thing to me is: If I did that night after night, would I get used to it? Hmm. Loved your video as usual.
Absolutely love these videos guys. Thanks so much for sharing this adventure. I’m hoping to do the PCT in a few years when I’m retired so staying in shape now and doing shorter trips as time allows. Question: What video editor app are you using? Have been making movies for years but have always used laptop… never on iPhone.
I’ve been using LumaFusion. Pretty complete editing software for a mobile phone app. I have throughly enjoyed using it. It does just about anything I can think of.
Great videos - I like the sequence of camp activities
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Take time to enjoy Washington; it’s too beautiful to “rush” through. Thanks for bringing us along!
Nice one again. Wow you’re making progress. Great hiking!
Congratulations! I have loved watching you from across the pond in the UK. Thank you for taking us with you on this epic adventure.
It has been fantastic. Hopefully they will start another this year or next. CDT or AT.
You continue to deliver wonderful content! Thank you!
You guys are doing amazing. I hope your friend gets better quickly and catches up. Keep trekking. 😀

FYI the Canadian border is opening tomorrow. That will beat backtracking to Rainy Pass.

So tough when a family member falls back (or off trail).
Was that the sound of frogs in the background on the last clip?
When ya get to the end can ya turn around and go back down it for us please 😋
