Thats because the egg videos were done in a controlled environment like a lab, and the videos of the slugs were taken from the natural world. Its a common tactic nature videos often do to get entertaining documentaries.
Slipping an hd camera inside a small hole, getting the perfect angle, leaving it there for hours withous getting dust on lense, while also making sure the natural environment isnt damaged is sort of possible, but very difficult.

I collected 1000 slugs (video to prove it) from my garden. I put them in a bucket with holes in the lid for air but they must have covered all the holes with there own slime and blocked them all. They all died, tuned to mush and got added to the compost. Dead slugs and snails make a great plant feed to.
If I spun around like that before being born, I would come out dizzy. 😂
