EMU 365 Series - Emily Austin on GI decontamination, management of serotonin syndrome, and more

From our 2022 NYGH EM Update conference, Dr Emily Austin reviews a few cases of toxicology/overdose that presented to the ED. She reviews management of quetiapine overdose, beta-blocker toxicity and recognition and management of serotonin syndrome. Dr Austin also discusses when the ED should consider activated charcoal and gastric lavage for GI decontamination. We also hear of a case of amlodipine overdose
