The reason they could change the wall plug is because the mechanism that was in the power brick is now inside the actual power box. For the baby size ones (like the 240) it would change the size of the box to put the power brick inside of it instead of on the wall charger. Jackery is still behind on -12v outlets (just one still, really?) -direct 12v power connections -EASY connection to non-Jackery panels (which all their competitors allow) The foldable handle is a great addition, love the new box design…just not worth the cost.
You can finally get rid of your countertop propane stove. The one that keeps eating your hoses. Just replace it with an induction stovetop. Maybe even get you a Ninja Foodi and cook like Foresty Forest. That Jackery 2000 Pro would be the perfect thing to get for emergency power outages at home or an apartment. I still have my Jackery 240. It’s always plugged into the wall outlet and charging my smart phone and 5 volt devices.

The problem with this is the parking lot full of panels required to charge it! And under open sky? Who says I am always gonna have that much space and sky to put out all these panels? And they continue to make it hard to use anything but Jackery panels for these things. Yeah, there are hacks to get these charging on roof panels (I charge my Jackery 1500 on roof panels with the use of two adapters) but the current competition has left Jackery in the dust in the 2000w power station arena. I barely have room for my two foldable Jackery panels I pull out occasionally for supplement charging and this unit uses 6! And yeah you can get it with less panels or just rely on the 12v cig lighter charging, but how realistically is that gonna keep up with use of the thing? Especially for high draw items? This maybe makes sense for tiny homes and cabins or home blackouts, not most van dwellers or RVers.
@@AndyGeesGarage Depends on what you use and if you even have access to charging outside of solar panels. Many people get these to use high power draw items which means faster depletion.
