I heard several times throughout the performance that this was the 40th Anniversary of Avalon String Band. I was a member from 1968 to 1972. It doesn’t add up. BTW, the performance was great!
@@christopherdamore1993 Harry Lawson was the Captain most of the time I was a member. We practiced at several different locations 4th and George Streets in Northern Liberties, D and Somerset in Kensington, and at a VFW on Frankfort Avenue. I joined the Navy in 1973 and did 6 years. Unfortunately, I never went back to mummery when I returned.

They reorganized in 1982 with completely new leadership. 40 years since the reorganization.
