- We finally got the opportunity to check out Nissan Magnite’s new Eazy-Shift and Kuro editions. While the Easy-shift AMT transmission will be available across the range starting from the base trim level. The Kuro is based on the XV variant.
Driving magnite AMT for last 2 month. No complaints. At this prize this is gold. Please consider prize before comparing it with other AMT's.
This is one of few videos on this channel that being talked more about driving aspects rather than interiors of the car and really loved it, nailed every points.
In Gadiyo mai ek hi problem hai iska start and stop switch Jo ki middle mai hai (Chote bache usko dhyan na hone par easily press kar dete hai) And door lock unlock ke switch Jo car window ke samne hai (Ye purani sassti car wala feel dete hai.)
Nissan Magnite and Honda Elevete are the best compact SUV in terms of looks in its segment..
After driving CVT u feel very irritating while driving AMT.. here in KSA I usually drive Yaris CVT and Creta CVT... but when I drove Dzire AMT 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦😩😫
bro.. its 6.5 lakh AMT in full 4 meter compact SUV. That's good enough in 6.5 lakh. For example, Nexon AMT starts at 11 lakh. Kiger AMT starts at 9 Lakhs. Even Wagon R AMT costs more than 6.5 lakhs, and Wagon R is three level below than this car. Compact SUV (NIssan AMT) > Compact Sedan (Tigor AMT) > Premium hatchback (Baleno AMT) > normal hatchback (Wagon-R AMT)

Hereafter consider safety aspect of car as highest priority while giving verdict. Baleno amt or ignis amt or wagonR amt may have better performance but should the customer's family be killed in tin can car ? At 6.5Lkhs ex-showroom we are getting 4* gncap, 210mm ground clearance, spacious 5seater and Amt(with manual mode) too which is not offered by anyone else..
Alto k10 amt(5.6Lkhs ex-showroom) with 2* safety rating is the only other option.. Celerio not tested, wagonR, ignis are all 1*.. Baleno, Swift, Fronx are costlier by minimum 2Lkhs.. i10 Nios, Tiago are almost 7khs ex showroom and smaller too..

This car's 1 litre NA engine with manual transmission is underpowered as well. When 4 5 people are sitting in car this car struggle in climbing up the slopes.

My budget is around 11 to 11.5 Lac only.
1. Need a comfortable family car for 4 people
2. Should be good for plains, hilly and village roads
3. Should have less maintenance and peace of mind ( don't want to go to SC frequently)
4. Need a reliable car, planning to keep it more than 10 years.
5. Should be good from safety side as well
6. Should be good in city and stable on highway at 80 to 90 speed.
I have breeza, nexon and venue in mind.
Pls suggest, you can also suggest any other car as well. Thanks alot in advance.

@onesujeet obviously exter have powerful engine . I m looking for amt version with in 9L . Just confused which one is best... magnite have good road presence and space better than exter and punch.hope In these care performance are not huge differences . Have to check amt of magnite

The popularity of these 3-cyl engines is ruining the Indian auto industry with heavier bodies, fancier features and attractive price tags due to major cost cutting at engines by almost all brands.
The turbo variants are still bit more capable in terms of output but they carry evils of vibrations and noise and of course, more engine maintenance.
VW 1.0L TSI stays to be the best performer amongst the 3-cyl engines but it cannot run far from the evils of the 3-cyl engines itself, despite being German engineered.
IMO Turbocharged 3-cyl engines are only good enough to be driven within city or short distances and are rather fun with turbo.
But definitely not recommended for highway cruising and/or hilly terrains.

No, they never launched a Magnite AMT. They had a Turbo CVT - a different automobile tech.
They don't have automatic option for 1litre non turbo, the turbo variant gets a CVT from day 1.
Kiger which is the same car from Renault gets amt as well as CVT from day 1.

Vikas bhai, I hope this slope test was without accelerator input, otherwise it is a serious issue.
Because honestly speaking, overheat warning aside, not many amts would be able to climb that slope without throttle.
That's true. in Crawl mode AMTs don't have the torque enough to let the car climb uphill

Older AMTs were better like the older Hyundai i10 which had a OD gear which lets you overtaken. click the button overtake and click it again to come out of the OD which is nothing but the 3rd gear in their 4 speed AMT. But Uphill me struggle karta hai purani i10 bhi aur downshift karna padta hai even to the 1st or 2nd gear to climb and agar ac chalu ho ya log bhare ho andar toh go gaya satyanaash 😂. But gear overheating ka issues kabhi aaye nahi hyundai AMT's me

The way u r treating an AMT in an incline mujhe lagta hai none of the AMTs available can perform any better. The time u r taking in that incline waisa testing real life mai koi nai karta hai. And those who are criticising this AMT ek kaam karo Alto wagonR Lelo kyunki good things Indians k aukad ka bahar hi hai chaahe wo jitna bhi price decrease karwaye by an International brand.
