You're not some of those European countries. You're not even Canada (where we give drug dealers a metric fuckton of chances before we put them in jail, and even then it's nothing ((it took my friend getting busted with multi OZ weights of coke three times for him to finally get jail time, and even then it was only 2 years and he only did 1 and a couple weeks)). You're in America, where they get off on giving life sentences to dealers for breakfast.
It's a horrible reality, but it's kinda of hard to feel all that sorry for him when he was so flagrant about everything, and didn't take a single warning sign to heart. It sucks when Western citizens get sentenced to death in Far East countries for drug trafficking, but you know what country you're going into. If you go into a Middle Eastern country and blatantly disrespect their culture, laws, and values, it's hard to feel all that sorry.
I don't want this to be taken as me completely writing AB off .. I wish him the best of luck, and do wish things turn out well enough that he can at least hope to see the other side of things ..
