Excellent video, dude. I compared this to the actual shots of the NASA rocket and it looks like you did a great job! One tip for spacing the lines properly on something like this: When I have to do evenly spaced lines, I'll put small pieces of the same sized masking tape horizontally at the top and bottom to help guide the vertical pieces of masking tape. Then, after it's all on, I just pull off the horizontal pieces and spray the secondary coat. I haven't seen much of your channel yet (just subscribed, though!) so I'm not sure how familiar you are with decal solutions. I have some of that Walther's Decal Solution but I've never used it so I can't offer any advice for it. For decals that have to be put over surfaces like this, though, I'll use a combination of Micro Sol and Micro Set. I usually put Micro Sol underneath (instead of using water) and then apply Micro Set on the top. I'll then use a very fine-tipped cotton bud (dipped in Micro Set) to start working it into the crevices. This can sometimes take hours and multiple applications of the solution to get it to work, but it does. Just be very very careful because this will soften the decal and it'll rip really easily. I usually use a dabbing motion vs. a pushing/pulling motion. Also; don't let the solution dry when you're still pushing it into place. Don't pour on the solutions, but do keep it moist while it's settling in. Also make sure you suck up extra fluid underneath because it'll move the decal around as it dries, mis-aligning it. Apologies tendered if you're already familiar with this technique, I just wanted to offer some advice just in case. :) Look forward to watching your other videos, dude!
@Spacenerd_editz you can say that again! Revell doesn't give a rap about making new tooling for real life spacecraft models. They seriously need to update their shuttle tooling. I don't want to imagine what their Saturn V kits are like
@@rpgiv3175 also, im SO mad that every time they come again with a shuttle model or other models, they just change the box! Like they could like fix or remake the models? Since they are so inacurate and impossible to build if you don’t have experience.
