Maz is just on fire this year!!!! WAAX's new album is superb and she has totally nailed this!! Australia has been blessed with some powerful female singers over the years and Maz sits comfortably in that company
Got to see WAAX when they supported Amity Affliction on tour last month and they definitely got me as a fan after that

The mix on this is strange. It sounds like there is a sizeable roll-off on the high and low end. Makes everything sound super thin and muddled. Almost like listening through cheap laptop speakers.

Yeah at 2:17 you can see jake (screamer) isnt holding up the mic but you can still hear him just as well as when he lifts it up

Blame the Triple J producer, not the band. They probably did 50 takes & they picked the most energetic performance to go with a track.
