ADDC 2024 - Roman Starikovich - Bert Heskes - Toyota Hilux Dakar

Round 2 of the W2RC Championship took place recently in the western region of Abu Dhabi's vast desert expanse. Abu Sports Council sponsored the event and EMSO provided excellent organization of the 5 specials and the rest of the hard work that goes into such a Motorsport event. The local crew of Roman Starikovich and Bert Heskes enter their familiar Toyota Hilux seen recently on the Abu Dhabi Baja series round 3 and also a few years ago on the Ras Al Khaimah desert Rally. The team are seen at the prologue start in Ruwais and then at the start of the final special, SS5 at about 280kms in total distance. The crew do a great job and bring the Toyota home in 37th place overall and 12th in the Ultimate class.
