I mean have you seen the so called triple A slop that is produced? Most the indie titles are better nowadays. Big corps just want them player counts. That’s all they care about. Good game companies are rare in today’s world of games.
@@kenshisankiI think it was more of are there any other games outside of these games listed cuz it makes it seem like there isnt much to play when every year your seeing the exact same games over and over.
I'm surprised to see so many bigger, demanding titles. But I love it for smaller, more chill games. Just finished Stick of Truth yesterday, and today I started Citizen Sleeper on Steam Deck. 2025 is the year I hope to complete more games.
SteamDeck is the perfect place to enjoy 360/PS3 to last gen games and indies. I wish they’d make a slimmer model that could easily handle and Indie game that’s thrown at it
Just booted up Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader and I can see it being a big title that I sink tons of hours into! Also cautiously holding on to hope that we'll get to play VII Rebirth on Deck. But those minimum specs do not bode well for us on that front D:
I appreciate the videos, but some constructive criticism here though. You need to do something about your voice, it feels like you are being punished for doing these videos my man. A bit more energy, enthusiasm and less uptalk.
Totally agree. I thought he was whispering at first. I had to turn off the game on my Steam deck to pay attention cause I couldn’t understand what dude was saying. We know you’re reading from a script but you don’t have to sound like you’re bored while reading from a script.
people play the same 20 games on steam deck from year to year
Good games are eternal, there's no reason to play the latest and "greatest" if your old favorites are still fun

That’s what I do
there are thousands of old games I’ve never played before
People generally played older games last year across all of Steam

Elden Ring is the GOAT for getting back to #1 and never being kicked off the list.
It's a shame that GTA V in Story Mode was played at 90 fps in high graphics and now it barely maintains 60.
What’s the cause for drop in performance?
I'm curious about that as well.

Just started playing the Witcher 3 on my OLED Steam Deck. Game looks beautiful.
Poe2 has taken over my life lol
Same LOL
I think this probably makes my mind up to go to another pc handheld.....probably not the games I play
Spiderman is so underated on Steam! loving that series and Morales. Can't wait for Spiderman 2 to release on STEAM.

My Steam Deck is originally an Elden Ring machine.
Elden ring is just....special 🤷♂️ ...its some amazing shit
4:08 I contributed 100+ hours to this one 😉
No man sky amd doom eternal are really good on the deck imo. Surprised none of them were on here.
My top Steam Deck games of 2024 are as follows:
1. Minishoot’ Adventures
2. Balatro
3. Gravity Circuit
4. Antonblast
5. Animal Well
6. Parking Garage Rally Circuit
7. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
8. Ys X: Nordics
9. UFO 50
10. Devil Blade Reboot
deep rock has drops to 30 frames in later stages
I just learned about this, does anyone know why GTA V online is no longer working for the Steam Deck?
Rockstar added an anti cheat
@doberton Dang, it's a good thing I didn't have my playthrough on the deck. Imagine all those hours of grinding being lost.
You can disable the anti cheat just can't play online
Most played game for me was L4D2 and second bioshock remaster third was NFS hot pursuit
I miss atom rpg on this
I'm surprised Binding of Isaac is not on the list
Same here, though it did drop out the top 20 quite a few times in the monthlies

Internet bitchin
Noted!
Warlander gameplay is slow in (my) steam deck screen
But Elden ring runs at like 30fps dang
I only play fallout 4 on this list 😂, maybe just 20 h after that's continue granding on monster hunter world
So basically every other list..
If you follow the monthly update, not much change unfortunately. Need some new, well optimised games
