I have only used this jig once but here is the description from the website:
Good at slide action with sharpness! The slim long silhouette with reduced thickness realizes light pulling resistance. This makes it easier to use in various situations. It responds to combination jerk with a light class slightly soft rod and impact jerk that firmly transmits power and slides quickly. In the falling after sliding, it strongly appeals to fish with flashy wobbling. Occasionally, Irregular slides are added, and the fish will bite. It is especially recommended for blue-runners aimed at spinning tackle.

Shimano makes easy to use gear such as this - so working or getting this jig to work is not difficult like a lot of brands that are a bit more specialized.

I am one of those guys that put more than one hook 😂. I just attach directly with a split ring on the rear for short strikes. It makes me feel better and sleep at night.

leader to solid ring...it's a fast jig....so you tie it there directly.

I use a blue safari and an ocea conquest for my PE 0.8 and those are the only ones I can recommend since I have used both extensively. There are lots of rods, but if you are looking for something 40-80, it is best you go with a max 100g rod - there are a lot of brands for this, depends on your budget.
