As a business owner you pay your employees weekly, daily, monthly on a set schedule not on the customer says you schedule. My husband owned a construction company and wether job was done and he was paid or not his employees got paid daily or weekly. Your employees are not the owners they are hourly/daily paid employees, customer payments have nothing to do with them being paid. Owner makes , usually, alot more than hourly employees, so they are paid differently. At beginning of each job my husband would put enough money aside to pay his employees weekly, usually for 40 hrs, and him being paid by customer didn't effect his employees pay at all. if you pay you employee by the job, or stage of completion on job then that is pretty much a subcontractor and not your employee and that pay schedule is completely different. If someone is hourly then they are paid weekly/biweekly for hours worked at end of certain the period. Business owner here is just lazy, not good at management of money and doesn't know or care how to run a up and up business. Man pays/hires teenagers or hard on luck folks cause he thinks he can get away with this crap and apparently until now has been. I bet if IRS audited him he would be crying and wishing he ran a above board business.

You can’t even make out Doctor‘s handwriting and she’s worried about this young man’s penmanship? I wonder if she’d say that to all the highly prominent doctors that use chicken scratch as handwriting.

Doctors’ handwriting is supposed to be quick and somewhat legible (even if it’s only to the doctor) for medical records where proving identity isn’t really required; the penmanship JJ is talking about is for proving one’s identity when signing a document, it doesn’t need to be legible, just consistent, so you need to be able to write it the same over and over again, if you practise writing your signature, you are improving your penmanship.

It’s less about his penmanship and more about the fact at first it looked like different signatures on the checks. Y’all daft or something?

i have seen people buy house for a dirt cheap legal price while the bulk of the price was payed unofficially , and one person payed the dirt cheap price , then sued the sellers in court when they refused to give him the house without the unofficial payment , he won the case , company had to pay a huge sum as tax fraud to the government and he got rent equal to the number of months that the house was given to him

These so-called “business owners” need to realize that this whole “you’ll get paid when I get paid” nonsense doesn’t fly. Your employees deserve reliable, consistent pay because they aren’t the business owners; they aren’t assuming the financial risk of your business ventures.
And if you’ve been operating for 7-8 years and you’re still running paycheck to paycheck, you’ve got a serious problem.

When I was 14, I hired on to cut grass and the owner sent me out with his son to show me the ropes. The son brought his GF along and they stayed in the van and made out while I did all the grass cutting. I did one lawn and then walked home. No way was I going to do all the work while the kid made out with his GF all day. I never got paid but it did teach me a valuable lesson about crooked people.
