That is my guess for her worst skin. Most, in this case, is because they dint made a champion, and then, choose a skin for it. They made the skin first for Seraphine, and, this is what we got

We can make fun of riot all we want but their sound team never disappoints. the ocean song passive's music has great summer vibes and is very easy passive listening while you're doing something else (like playing league)

I kinda wanted her hair to fade into blue so the blonde part is the sand and the blue part is the water/waves. Other that that, this is definitely the best skin.

@@markjade3587 Rising Star is actually my favorite version of K/DA Seraphine. But something about her outfit is just making me cringe a bit. I only like Rising Star because of the sound effects since it's based on "Made Me This Way", my 3rd favorite Seraphine Song (behind All The Things She Said and her Champion Theme). It just sounds soothing. But I know only very few people like Rising Star.
Although, this might sound weird, but my favorite version of Seraphine is actually her base form. Yes, she looks very out of place but her animations and sound effects are better than K/DA IMO, especially her ult. Ocean Song and the prestige version are a very close second
I find the superstar to be the worst out of the KDA skins tbh. I think indie is the best one, rising star is a also good but not as good as Indie and superstar is meh.

her superstar skin is what we expect out of riot in terms of general skin quality- indie hits that mark too since its so visually different from the other two, but rising star is like that unseen middle child ;-;
its not an inherently BAD skin to begin with, but comparing it to her other skins within the same ultimate and her two other skins (graceful phoenix and ocean song), it just doesnt hold up. The only thing it has going for it (imo) is her ability effects for it.
I almost wish they did an arcade skin for seraphine.... I feel like her stage animation could be re-imagined into an almost DDR-esque kind of dancing.
yep, her the passive music on oc seraphine and the really good prestige convinced me to take my mythic essence and gemstones, which i grinded over 2 years and get the prestige. Its THE summer skin imo.
I like the lore blurb(s) that says this is Music AU, and Seraphine is back from her break, but not diving into making new music yet, and is instead attending the Ocean Song Festival to get inspiration from the other artists. Also the detail that this is Zeri and Yone's first performances, and Nidalee kinda pushed Yone to put himself and his music out there after she found his lyrics. Just a lot of good character setup for the Music AU imo
Sometimes it's starting to feel like you're getting a bit too hung up on skins having to "recontextualize" a champion into someone new, overlooking that sometimes it can be nice to simply have an existing character be completely themself just with some cosmetic variety.

I love Sera, but i do feel like she has lots of missed potentials with her character. Especially ever since Arcane aired and it makes her feel more underdeveloped. I hope in the later years she gets more worked on.

That's because the idea of making her come from Zaun was a total afterthought.
She does not fit anywhere because his default look looks more like a skin than Prestige Ocean song does.
As nymphs were an obvious inspiration for her entire design, Prestige Ocean Song makes perfect sense to her.
In fact, if her lore was how she actually is a nymph who got captured and put on stage by someone to make money off her beautiful singing voice until she eventually manages to free herself and escape on the hovering stage built for her to perform on at the climax of her forced career, THAT would make the entire champ MUCH better
Sera really just needs to get some more stories centered on her where she gets to interact with other champs or the more cynical elements of piltover/zaun. She needs to struggle more for her idealism to not be painfully naive in my opinion.
Also gotta remember Seraphine is an actual real influencer on social media even before she collaborated with Riot for KDA in League of Legends. So to put a real sort of personal or personality into a game where it has so much deep lore can be challenging besides that music collaboration.

Imagine that Dissonance Viego created his own metal band with Seraphine, Rell, Morgana and Volibear or Ornn (Seraphine is Sona rival, Rell is Mordekaiser's Rival, Morgana because she is Kayle's evil sister, Voli because he is the God of Thunder {there is a metal song with this title}). They would be Pentakill rivals. Imagine that Sera would get legendary which would give her different voice actor to fully change her apperance.
So in my eyes ocean song prestige isn’t so much a prestige and more of an entirely new skin, which imo is better than just base ocean song. Though for a comprehensive list the distinction of ‘it says prestige so it’s just a prestige and not it’s own kind of skin’ is necessary.

@@pureteddybear_ prestige skins are basically the same skin just recolored to be a little fancier. Some of the new prestiges diverge a little more but they tend to be the same or pretty similar

I feel like a cool skin for seraphine would be a dictator, using her stage to capture peoples attention with stiff posture instead of dancing around
The thing I'll specifically give Ocean Song is that it actually portrays her as oriental. The character in general is supposed to be themed like a Chinese influence to appeal to that market, but entirely missed that mark and just looks like a generic anime girl with pink hair. Of all her skins, including base, only Ocean Song gets this across.

I remember everyone hating Seraphine and every single skin she had. Here recently though, I’ve only seen positive things about her posted. Crazy how she was so hated upon release to being a now massively popular champion I see in every 2-3 games.
people still hate her and what she represent, it's just that the people who like her still talk about her while the ones that dont moved on to other discussions like for example other new champ releases. it doesnt help that arcane came out and brought an influx of people who didnt experience seraphine launch into the game that dont know why she is disliked
ocean song sera is the first prestige that i have thought is worth spending my ME on, it's a great skin. Sera as a whole has really good skins, and while her as a character is lackluster at best all but her base design is amazing.

I don't care much for Seraphine as a design, and her current skins don't help much with that, but I would be interested in a resistance skin for her where she's a rabble-rousing freedom fighter, encouraging the masses to rise up from atop a floating soapbox. And since the resistance line hasn't gotten a legendary yet I think it would be a good fit as the first one.
Worst skin for Seraphine will be the middle stage of her ultimate skin. The first stage as the indie artist at least is an interesting concept and reinvents her. The middle stage is just the final stage but worse.

Idk why but with this skin I actually like (or tolerate) more her dialogues, she is in a party all bump up so it feels more natural and welcoming(? While in her base form she feels like a person that say "omg don' t be sad" when someone says "I'm sad"

It would be really cool to see a Halloween or otherwise spooky themed skin of a siren Seraphine. Imagine hearing the call of what you think is a beautiful mer-girl, but it’s really a horrific siren luring you beneath the waves. I feel like it fits in perfectly with her kit, especially her ult (the mass charming?). Riot don’t be cowards you gave us Belveth which is a similar design you can give us a monstrous seraphine
Worst is probably the KDA...
It's what the entire Twitter campaign was building to. It's associated with KDA's rather lackluster World's performance. It's a 3-pack of skins priced at Ultimate Skin value where the other two required unlocking through playing games. It's usually the culmination of most of Seraphine's negative aspects and for an Ultimate Skin doesn't really earn the price-tag like others did on their releases (Before you mention Ezreal and Udyr's. Ezreal's was updated entirely to match the quality of the Pulsefire skin line overall especially compared to Caitlyn's legendary and Udyr's upcoming VGU is on hiatus exclusively because they're rebuilding Spirit Guard from the ground up).
Can't wait for tomorrow where KDA will be declared the worst skin :3

I’m gonna guess that for Seraphine’s worst skin, you’re gonna start by saying that her base skin is her worst since it doesn’t do a lot to help tell her story (she’s from Piltover, her parents originally lived in Zaun, and she’s trying to bring the two cities together) but then you’re gonna give it to one or all of the three K/DA skins. I’m thinking maybe Rising Star because it’s the least interesting one out of the lot (in my opinion anyway) or the actual K/DA one since more effort went into that then her base skin, and that should not have been the case.
I think she could be something other than a singer in space groove. A ton of shows in the 80s had space explorers that did their thing with the power of music.

It's really frustrating to me that the League community as a whole can't seem to wrap its head around the fact that some characters and people - i.e., Seraphine, myself - do, in fact, WANT to be the bright, starry-eyed youth believing in the world despite all its troubles and trying to fix it, rather than becoming jaded old hardened souls who push people around to cope with their trauma.
As a post about the general idea of Disbelief Papyrus and its disconnect with his actual character put it, people are perfectly capable of going through a lot and still choosing to be kind and gentle.

I love KDA but what I hate is that you have to pick the skin before game play. As the skin is trying to to is level up her career as a singer. Indie, raising star and the last one. Why didn't they make her change forms while leveling up in the game no one knows. I guess it's because of her song that plays for each one? Couple of ideas:
Riot Rebel Seraphine: recast her as a community organizer at a protest wearing a loud t shirt and jeans, maybe face paint hyping up a crowd to stand-up against systemic injustice.
Corporate Seraphine: recast her as a power hungry elite-wealth business woman with a cellphone instead of a microphone, barking nonsensical business platitudes... (Might need to be a legendary skin.)
Coach Seraphine: sports jersey, cap, megaphone.
Verosika Seraphine... that's what I got.
