    this project clear the concepts of electric generator. if you want to run florescence bulb so you have to make large model of this generator..

    Dear friend, you should have specified the kind of magnets used- Black or Neodymium magnet as it causes grave problem when students use simple black magnets which don't possess enough stength

    Very nice. Just make sure you take care of safety. Safety comes first. Use gloves and glasses etc. Also provide safety instructions before the video so that the people who want to try this may also be aware of the precautions they are supposed to keep in mind.

    This is an excellent presentation. Instead of tape around nail, a wooden dowel that fits exactly into the PVC pipe could be drilled with a headless nail. I suggest that your science club engages in recording dimensions of common parts that can be easily found in packaging or in common items (like dowels from flagpoles or broomsticks etc.) I am always looking for perfect fit among all the man-made items that surround me, because I want to build machines without custom made parts. Good job!

    yes each coil generate more then 2 volt and it can be connected in series circuit.

    take out a small motor from any toy take the both terminal from motor to led upto 6volts dc it give you from rotating the motor simple....this I did at the age of 12yr

    I just wanted to ask you that what would be the appropriate weight of your generator,is it too heavy or its medium? ok if i connect the generator 's nail with to a motor will it would be able to produce minimum electricity required for glowing of the LED.....please reply fast

    Very good! You could cut the iron strips in 3 and rap smaller coils and put them in series to make more voltage.

      You have to add permanent magnet on rotor to convert ac motor to generator
